Yes. WNBA All-Star Kelsey Plum and NFL tight end Darren Waller married in Las Vegas during the first weekend of March 2023. ESPN reported the wedding announcement on March 4, after the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on March 1 that the ceremony was scheduled for Saturday. ESPN later reported that they filed for divorce in April 2024.

Two days earlier, the Las Vegas Review-Journal had reported that Raiders coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler said the wedding was planned for Saturday in Las Vegas (Las Vegas Review-Journal).
Sports Illustrated reported that Plum announced the wedding on Instagram with the caption “Him.” That wording is attributed to Sports Illustrated’s account of the post, rather than verified here against the original post (Sports Illustrated).

Why was Waller called a Raiders player?
“Raiders” describes Waller’s NFL team at the time of the 2023 wedding, not a present-day team affiliation. At the time, Waller was a tight end for the Las Vegas Raiders, while Plum played guard for the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, as ESPN identified in its March 2023 report. The headline’s team references are historical.
What does “WNBA All-Star” refer to?
Plum’s All-Star description is supported by the Las Vegas Aces’ official game notes, hosted by WNBA.com and dated August 25, 2024. They list her as an All-Star in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons, as well as the 2022 All-Star MVP and a WNBA champion with the Aces in 2022 and 2023 (Aces game notes).
