Kelsey Parker announced on 22 June 2025 that her son with partner Will Lindsay, Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, had been born sleeping. In a post remembering Phoenix, Parker shared a poem and asked for privacy and time for her family to process the loss.
What happened to Kelsey Parker’s baby?
Parker announced Phoenix’s death in an Instagram post on 22 June 2025. A contemporaneous report by the RTÉ reproduced her caption describing him as “born sleeping.” The reporting does not establish a medical cause or further private circumstances, and none should be inferred.
What was the baby’s name?
Parker and Lindsay named their son Phoenix Parker-Lindsay. RTÉ reproduced Parker’s words: “Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved.” The poem shared with the announcement was titled “For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved.” These details were reported contemporaneously; the poem’s full text is not reproduced here.
Who is Will Lindsay?
Lindsay is Parker’s partner and Phoenix’s father. Phoenix was their first child together. Parker also has two children, Aurelia and Bodhi, with her late husband, Tom Parker, who died in 2022. Reporting in January 2025 said Parker was expecting her third child.

Subsequent reports concern a different pregnancy and should not be confused with the 2025 announcement.
