Kayla Wallace and her husband, Kevin McGarry, have welcomed their first child. The When Calls the Heart actors announced they were expecting in November 2025, shared the baby’s arrival on Mother’s Day in May 2026, and a later report identified their child as a boy. They have not publicly shared his name.
When did Kayla Wallace announce her pregnancy?
Wallace and McGarry announced on Instagram on Nov. 11, 2025, that they were expecting their first child. Their joint post showed them in front of a Christmas tree, with Wallace’s baby bump visible, according to Parade.
The caption read, “We can’t wait to meet you, baby♥️,” followed by “Premiering 2026.” That was playful wording about the year they expected to meet their baby, not a specific due date, as Parade reported.
When did the baby arrive, and what is known?
The couple announced the baby’s arrival on May 10, 2026, Mother’s Day. Wallace’s caption began, “Mother. The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met,” and went on to describe motherhood as the greatest joy of her life. Just Jared described the accompanying image as the baby’s fingers held by the parents.
