The chapter’s final coda returns to Sukuna’s remaining finger. The image recalls the cursed object that set Yuji’s story in motion, giving the ending a visual echo of the manga’s opening premise. That is an interpretation of the callback; the image does not, by itself, announce Sukuna’s return or a new conflict.
What the ending resolves—and what it leaves open
Chapter 271 gives readers a last glimpse of Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara carrying on their work together, then closes on the finger.
