What happens in “You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates”?
After escaping At Achrann, the children, Jod, and Sm-33 continue their effort to find At Attin. The episode takes them to Lanupa in pursuit of coordinates to their homeworld. Its official synopsis also points to revelations about the crew’s ship and a legendary pirate captain, shifting the journey from a search for directions toward the pirate history surrounding their predicament.

Why Jude Law gets the spotlight
Jod Na Nawood is played by Jude Law, and the episode gives the character a central place in its pirate-focused turn. Jeffrey Lyles of Lyles’ Movie Files describes the effect this way: “You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates sets the stage nicely for the second half of the season as Jude Law firmly seizes the spotlight and in true pirate fashion, fully steals the episode.” That is Lyles’s review judgment, not evidence of a broader critical consensus.
Where this episode fits in the season
The episode’s title, “You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates,” signals the story’s focus, while its Lanupa stop connects the children’s immediate goal—finding coordinates to At Attin—with discoveries about the ship and a legendary captain. The episode synopsis frames it as groundwork for what follows; the named review likewise calls it a setup for the season’s second half.
