Mady and Cara pursued college and early professional careers; Hannah and Collin have spoken publicly about life after reality television; and Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel have largely remained outside the media spotlight. The reliable public record does not support a detailed current whereabouts report for every child—and privacy is an important part of the answer.
From a television family to eight separate adult lives
The Gosselin children first became widely known as a group on Jon & Kate Plus 8. The twins, Madelyn—known as Mady—and Cara, were born in October 2000. The sextuplets—Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel—were born on May 10, 2004.

The family series premiered on TLC in 2007. After Jon and Kate divorced in 2009, the program continued as Kate Plus 8. The television franchise ended in 2017. Since then, the eight siblings have developed very different relationships with publicity: some have maintained professional profiles or spoken in interviews, while others have kept their adult lives almost entirely private.
That distinction matters. A missing social-media post, an absent family photograph, or an old custody report cannot establish where someone lives, what they do for work, or whether they are in contact with a relative. The updates below are limited to details that have been publicly and credibly documented.
#1 Best Overall
The twins: Mady and Cara Gosselin
Mady Gosselin
Madelyn “Mady” Gosselin has built a life that is more private than her childhood television exposure might suggest. Public reporting based on her professional profile said that she graduated from Syracuse University in 2023 with a degree in English Textual Studies and Film & Screen Studies, along with a minor in Art History.
The same profile-based reporting identified her with a customer- and community-service role at Bubble Skincare in New York City. Because that information came from professional-profile reporting rather than a current employer announcement, it is best understood as a documented career snapshot—not confirmation of her job status at the time of publication.
Mady has also spoken publicly about the pressures of growing up on reality television. She has generally kept her adult life comparatively private, however. Her limited public commentary should not be used to confirm or disprove particular claims about family disagreements.
Cara Gosselin
Cara has maintained a lower public profile than her twin. Published profiles reported that she attended Fordham University and graduated with honors in mathematics.
More recent professional-profile reporting listed Cara as a leasing credit officer at Bank of America, working with the institution’s education, healthcare, and nonprofit teams. That wording is deliberately cautious: the available record does not include a current employer announcement that would independently establish her employment status today.
There is no reliable basis for filling in the rest of Cara’s private life. Her current residence, relationship status, family contact, and daily activities should not be inferred from the absence of public posts.
The sextuplets
Hannah Gosselin
Hannah has been among the more publicly visible sextuplets since the show ended. In a 2022 Entertainment Tonight interview around her 18th birthday, she discussed saving money for college, missing her siblings, and receiving a birthday message from Kate. The interview also connected her with Gosselin Girl Beauty, a beauty project launched around that period.
Hannah has subsequently participated in interviews about the family’s reality-TV experience. Public reporting also associated her with Jon during the post-divorce custody period. Those historical arrangements do not establish her current residence, education, or professional status.
Hannah’s public comments have made her more visible than Alexis, Aaden, Leah, or Joel, but they do not provide a complete map of the siblings’ relationships. Reports about whom she is or is not close to have been inconsistent. Only direct, attributable statements should be treated as evidence.
Collin Gosselin
Collin has been the most direct of the siblings when discussing family estrangement. In a 2022 Entertainment Tonight interview, he said that he had not spoken with most of his siblings for approximately five or six years. He also expressed love for them and hope that they could eventually reconnect. In that account, he described Hannah as an important source of emotional support.

Collin also discussed ambitions involving the Marine Corps and later enlisted. In 2023, Entertainment Tonight reported Jon’s statement that Collin was doing well during Marine Corps training. A separate 2023 report about his training graduation said that Collin planned to study mechanical and industrial engineering after completing that stage.
The reviewed record does not reliably establish whether Collin remains in the military, has completed military service, continued that education, or currently holds a particular job. Those possibilities should not be presented as confirmed current facts without newer, attributable evidence.
Rank #3
Why reports about Collin’s childhood need careful wording
Collin has made allegations and shared recollections about his childhood treatment in interviews. Those claims have been reported by entertainment outlets, but they remain disputed within the family. Kate has made differing public statements about parts of his account. A responsible article attributes each position to the person who made it rather than presenting disputed allegations as settled fact or reaching a legal conclusion.
Alexis Gosselin
Alexis has largely remained outside the current media cycle. Earlier reporting identified her as living with Kate during the post-divorce custody period, and later coverage has included her in occasional family birthday or social-media references.
No sufficiently reliable, current source in the reviewed record establishes Alexis’s occupation, residence, relationship status, or day-to-day activities. The most accurate update is simply that she is an adult who has not maintained a substantial public profile.
Aaden Gosselin
Aaden also has very little current, independently verifiable information available publicly. He appeared in older family coverage and occasional retrospective reports, but the reviewed sources do not establish a current occupation, residence, education, or public-facing project.
It is reasonable to say that Aaden has stayed out of the spotlight. It is not reasonable to construct a detailed present-day biography from unverified social accounts, anonymous posts, or fan-maintained timelines.
Leah Gosselin
Leah has likewise maintained a low public profile. Older reporting placed her among the children living with Kate during the post-divorce custody period, and later retrospective coverage identified her as one of the sextuplets.

Rank #4
Reliable current information about Leah’s career, education, residence, and relationships was not established by the sources reviewed. Her privacy should not be turned into a speculative career or relationship update.
Joel Gosselin
Joel is the eighth child in the sextuplet group and has largely avoided sustained media exposure as an adult. Public sources establish his place in the family and include him in historical or birthday coverage, but they do not provide a reliable current account of his occupation or residence.
As with Alexis, Aaden, and Leah, the lack of public information is not evidence of a particular family conflict or life circumstance. It means only that Joel has not supplied—or has not had publicly reported—a detailed adult profile.

After Jon and Kate’s 2009 divorce, public reporting described different living arrangements among the children. By the 2021–2023 period, Hannah and Collin were publicly associated with Jon, while the other six children were generally associated with Kate or were away at college. These reports describe a period of family arrangements; they should not be treated as a complete, permanent custody or contact map.

In 2023, Entertainment Tonight reported his claim that his relationship with six of the children was essentially nonexistent. Collin’s 2022 comments—that he had not spoken with most of his siblings for years while still loving them and hoping for reconciliation—offer a related but personal account.
Those statements are firsthand descriptions of the speakers’ perspectives. They do not independently verify the status of every sibling relationship. In particular, they should not be used to make a confident claim about Mady, Cara, Alexis, Aaden, Leah, or Joel unless that person has made a direct public statement.
Best Value
Kate’s public social-media posts have periodically shown some of the sextuplets. Coverage of posts marking their 20th birthday in 2024 and their 21st birthday in 2025 noted that only four sextuplets appeared in the images; Hannah and Collin were absent. The photographs can be described, but an absent person is not proof of permanent estrangement. People may decline to participate, be unavailable, or maintain contact away from cameras.
What has really changed since Jon & Kate Plus 8?
The clearest change is not that all eight children now have publicly documented celebrity careers. It is that they have grown into adults with sharply different levels of public visibility and control over their identities.

- Mady has documented college training in textual studies, film, and art history, along with an early professional role reported through a profile.
- Cara has documented academic achievement in mathematics and a profile-reported path into banking and leasing credit.
- Hannah has discussed adulthood, college plans, family, and a beauty venture in interviews.
- Collin has spoken about sibling estrangement and publicly discussed military ambitions and a possible engineering education.
- Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel have largely remained private, leaving no reliable public basis for detailed current updates.
That uneven record is the answer. The children were introduced to viewers as a group, but adulthood has not required them to remain a group brand—or to disclose their locations, jobs, relationships, or family contact to the public.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Jon and Kate Gosselin’s eight children still on television?
No ongoing family series is documented in the record reviewed here. Jon & Kate Plus 8 premiered in 2007, continued as Kate Plus 8 after the 2009 divorce, and the television franchise ended in 2017. Hannah and Collin have appeared in later interviews, but that is different from the family continuing as a television cast.
Which Gosselin children were publicly associated with Jon after the divorce?
Public reporting from roughly 2021 through 2023 associated Hannah and Collin with Jon, while the other six were generally associated with Kate or were away at college. Those reports describe arrangements during that period and do not establish everyone’s current residence or custody status.
Why is there so little current information about four of the sextuplets?
Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel have largely stayed outside sustained media coverage. The available record does not reliably establish their current jobs, homes, relationships, or education. That lack of information should be treated as privacy—not as evidence of estrangement, reconciliation, or any other unreported circumstance.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Jon and Kate Gosselin’s eight children are adults with separate public footprints. Mady and Cara have documented academic and early professional milestones, Hannah and Collin have spoken about life after the show, and Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel have mostly chosen—or been allowed—to remain private. Any article claiming detailed current whereabouts for all eight would go beyond the reliable public evidence.
