The 2024 film follows Arthur as he awaits trial at Arkham, struggles with his dual identity, and encounters love and music. Watch the official trailer.
What the trailer is for
“Joker 2” is the informal name for Joker: Folie à Deux, Todd Phillips’s follow-up to 2019’s Joker. Warner Bros. lists the video as “Joker: Folie À Deux | Official Trailer.” The film stars Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck/Joker and Lady Gaga opposite him; DC identifies Harley Quinn among the film’s featured characters.
Who is Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux?
Lady Gaga plays Harley Quinn, appearing alongside Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck/Joker. DC’s official film page lists Gaga among the cast and names Harley Quinn as one of the featured characters. The trailer’s “Say Hello to Harley Quinn” hook points to her presence in the film, rather than a separate Harley Quinn project.
What is the film about?
DC’s official synopsis places Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham and awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. It says he struggles with his dual identity, encounters love, and finds the music that has been inside him. That is the studio’s description of the premise; it should not be mistaken for a scene-by-scene account of the trailer.
