Joaquin Phoenix returns as Arthur Fleck/Joker in Joker: Folie à Deux, Todd Phillips’s 2024 film co-starring Lady Gaga. The “25-second single take” wording points to a brief CinemaCon promo reported separately from Warner Bros.’ public teaser: coverage described that event footage as 27 seconds, while the studio’s official online teaser runs about 2 minutes 25 seconds. The sources cited here do not verify either an exact 25-second runtime or a single-take production method.
Which Joker 2 teaser is this?
“Joker 2” is Joker: Folie à Deux. Warner Bros. published the film’s official online teaser on April 9, 2024. Its description reads, “He’s not alone anymore,” and promotes the film for theaters and IMAX. Watch Warner Bros.’ official teaser.
The short clip discussed in connection with CinemaCon is a separate piece of footage. Forbes reported that the event promo ran 27 seconds; that is not the runtime of Warner Bros.’ public teaser. Forbes’ April 9, 2024 coverage and Associated Press CinemaCon coverage discuss the event context.
| Footage | Source and release | Reported runtime | What is established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official online teaser | Warner Bros., published April 9, 2024 | About 2 minutes 25 seconds | Official title, promotional description and online release |
| Brief CinemaCon promo | Shown around Warner Bros.’ CinemaCon presentation; reported by Forbes and AP | 27 seconds, according to Forbes’ April 9, 2024 report | Event context and reported duration; an exact 25-second runtime is not established |
Was the short promo filmed in one take?
The sources cited here do not confirm that the CinemaCon clip is one continuous take. A short piece of footage may look uninterrupted without proving how it was filmed, so “single take” should be treated as an unverified description rather than a production fact. The same sources do not establish an exact 25-second runtime; the reported figure is 27 seconds.
