Windows 10 and Windows 11 do not have separate official JioTV desktop versions. Your experience will depend on the browser, Jio’s web service, account eligibility, geographic availability, network, and—if you use an emulator—the computer’s hardware and graphics drivers.
Option 1: Watch JioTV in a Windows browser
Using the official website is the best first option because it does not require installing an Android emulator or downloading an APK.
- Open a current desktop browser on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC.
- Go to the official JioTV website.
- Browse the TV guide and available categories, or choose content marked as available to watch.
- Sign in with the appropriate Jio account if the site requests authentication.
- Start the channel or program and allow the page to load completely before troubleshooting.
The website exposes categories such as live television, shows, movies, sports, and news. It also presents guest navigation and “Watch Free Now” content. That does not mean every channel or program can be played without signing in or without a qualifying Jio entitlement.
Jio’s public website can be browsed from a computer, but Jio’s separate desktop FAQ still says laptop and PC support will be launched in the future. In practical terms, the website should be treated as a browser-access route—not proof that Jio has released a complete Windows app or that every mobile-app feature is available on a PC.

If JioTV works in the browser but a particular program does not
Playback can vary by title, account, rights agreement, and location. A channel that appears in the guide may not be playable for every user, and mobile-app features such as catch-up viewing may not have identical behavior on the desktop website. Check another program before concluding that the entire service is unavailable.
Option 2: Run the Android JioTV app with BlueStacks
If the browser version does not provide the content or interface you need, a third-party Android emulator can run the Android edition of JioTV inside Windows. BlueStacks publishes a JioTV-on-PC guide that describes installing BlueStacks, signing in to Google Play within the emulator, searching for JioTV, installing it, and launching it.
This is not an official JioTV Windows app. BlueStacks supplies the Android execution environment; the JioTV app remains the Android application published by Jio Platforms Limited. There is no indication here that Jio endorses BlueStacks.

BlueStacks also shows lower figures in part of its FAQ—2 GB of RAM and 5 GB of storage. Because the published figures are inconsistent, use the more conservative 4 GB RAM and 10 GB storage requirements as a planning baseline. They are the emulator vendor’s stated requirements, not a guarantee that JioTV will perform smoothly on every PC.
Installation steps
- Download the emulator only from the official BlueStacks website. Avoid “preactivated” emulator packages and third-party download portals.
- Install BlueStacks on the Windows computer. Administrator permission may be required.
- Open the emulator and sign in to Google Play using a Google account.
- Search Google Play for JioTV.
- Confirm that the publisher is Jio Platforms Limited.
- Install the app from Google Play, then launch it from the emulator’s home screen.
- Sign in with the Jio account required for the programming you want to watch.
Only use the official Google Play listing or another distribution channel explicitly provided by Jio. Why Windows Subsystem for Android is not the recommended solution
Windows Subsystem for Android is not a dependable new-installation route for JioTV. Microsoft states that Windows Subsystem for Android and the Amazon Appstore stopped being available in the Microsoft Store on March 5, 2025.
Someone who already has an older installation may have different circumstances, but it should not be presented as the normal current method for setting up JioTV on a new Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer.
