Jimmie Allen said his twins, Amari and Aria, were born before he and his then-wife, Alexis “Lexi” Gale, decided to try to repair their relationship. In an April 2024 interview account, he identified their mother as his friend Danielle and said he and Gale were not together when Danielle became pregnant. Those details are Allen’s account, not independent verification of private relationship events.
Who is the mother of Jimmie Allen’s twins?
Allen identified the twins’ mother as “my friend Danielle” in an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford, as reported by Just Jared on April 28, 2024. He said Danielle was not with her husband at the time and that he was not with Gale when Danielle became pregnant. The report does not provide Danielle’s full name, and Allen’s statements should be understood as his description of the circumstances.
In the same interview, Allen said the twins were born before he and Gale decided they wanted to try working on their relationship. The account therefore places the birth before their attempted reconciliation, rather than during it.
What is known about the twins and when the news became public?
The twins are named Amari and Aria. E! News reported in March 2024 that Allen shared photos of all six of his children on Instagram Stories, bringing the twins into public view. That report described them as nine months old at the time; that age is a snapshot from March 2024, not a current age.

How did Allen and Gale’s relationship timeline unfold?
The reported sequence below separates public reporting about the marriage from Allen’s own account of the pregnancy and reconciliation:
- April 2023: Allen and Gale’s separation and divorce filing were reported, according to the April 2024 Just Jared account.
- Pregnancy and birth: Allen said he and Gale were not together when Danielle became pregnant, and that the twins were born before he and Gale decided to try again. The interview report does not establish exact conception or birth dates.
- October 2023: The April 2024 report says the couple called off the divorce and were working on their relationship.
- By the April 2024 interview: The same account said they were again continuing the divorce process.

What did Allen say about trying again?
Allen described reconciliation as a decision that had to be right for both people. In the interview, he said: “If I know that I don’t want to be in a relationship and I don’t want to be married and I know that she’s not the person for me, and I’m not the person for her, why would I do that again to her? Why would I do that again to myself? It’s gotta be right.”
