News reports attributed March 23, 2025, as Bell’s date of death to a medical-examiner spokesperson. Her loved ones’ announcement was posted the following day, March 24; those are separate dates.

A medical-examiner spokesperson told reporters that an autopsy had been performed and toxicology testing was underway. The reports reviewed do not provide the results, so the cause and manner of death are not established here.

What happened to Bell’s dog, Kinley?
In March 2025, coverage reported that Bell’s loved ones were seeking a home for Kinley, described at the time as 14 years old, after the dog was taken to a Polk County shelter. That appeal was reported at the time; its outcome and Kinley’s current status are not established by the available coverage.
