The narrative-driven film was released the same day as Lopez’s album This Is Me…Now, serving as a cinematic companion to the music rather than a collection of standalone videos.
When did Jennifer Lopez release the trailer?
Prime Video’s verified AU & NZ YouTube channel dated its official trailer listing January 17, 2024. BMG, Lopez’s label, announced the trailer on January 18. Those dates refer to the trailer’s publication and the label’s announcement, respectively.
The trailer promoted a February 16, 2024 premiere. Amazon described the film as an Amazon Original that premiered globally and exclusively on Prime Video; BMG also gave February 16 as the release date for both the film and the album.
What is This Is Me…Now: A Love Story?
The film tells a story around Lopez’s journey to love through her perspective. Prime Video’s official trailer description characterizes it as “a narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, steeped in mythological storytelling and personal healing.” Amazon likewise says it explores Lopez’s journey to love through her own eyes. These are official corporate descriptions, not quotations from Lopez.
