The Times’ correction addressed who made that determination: it was Caan’s doctor, rather than the county medical examiner.

Were other conditions listed?
A separate report describing a certificate obtained by TMZ said it also listed congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Those conditions should be treated as additional conditions reported from the document, not as replacements for the heart attack and coronary artery disease identified in the Times report.
