Only if “daily loops” means scheduled broadcasts, not one video repeating continuously. StreamYard can start a prerecorded YouTube stream at a scheduled time, but its documented workflow ends when that video finishes and sets a maximum video length by plan. It does not document an automatic repeat-until-stopped loop. For a small channel that wants a daily scheduled broadcast within those limits, it may be useful; for an uninterrupted repeating stream, it is not a fit by itself.
What StreamYard does—and what “daily loop” could mean
StreamYard’s prerecorded-stream feature lets you upload a video or choose an existing recording, select destinations, and schedule a date and time. The broadcast starts automatically at that time and ends when the video finishes, according to StreamYard’s prerecorded-stream instructions.
That supports a recurring workflow in which you schedule a broadcast for each day. It is not evidence that one broadcast repeats the same file indefinitely, or that StreamYard will automatically schedule another broadcast every day. If you mean a continuous 24/7 stream, the documented prerecorded feature does not establish that capability.
Which StreamYard plans allow a scheduled prerecorded stream?
Prerecorded streaming is not included on StreamYard’s Free plan. The paid plans differ in the maximum length of each prerecorded video and how many such streams can be scheduled at once. The limits below are those in StreamYard’s current help documentation, accessed in 2026; check your account and checkout for current plan availability and terms.

| Plan | Maximum prerecorded video length | Prerecorded streams schedulable at once | Upload file-size cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Not available | Not available | Not applicable |
| Core | 2 hours | 5 | 10 GB |
| Advanced | 4 hours | 10 | 10 GB |
| Teams | 8 hours | Unlimited | 25 GB |
| Business | 8 hours | Unlimited | 25 GB |
Scheduling can be set up to 365 days ahead. The upload requirements documented by StreamYard are MP4 with H.264 video encoding, a maximum upload bitrate of 10 Mbps, and streaming at up to 1080p. A 4K source therefore should not be assumed to stream at 4K through this feature.
Does it make sense for one daily broadcast?
It may, if scheduled starts are the main benefit
If your videos fit the plan’s length cap, StreamYard can remove the need to be present to start each scheduled broadcast. That can suit a small channel publishing a daily premiere-like or prerecorded livestream, especially when the scheduled livestream format itself matters. You can schedule multiple broadcasts ahead, then manage each day’s video as a separate event.

It may not, if you need a continuous loop
Each scheduled prerecorded broadcast ends when its video finishes. The documented feature does not promise automatic repetition or a continuously running channel. A plan’s broader streaming-duration language does not change the prerecorded video-length caps. If your requirement is an uninterrupted loop, confirm an appropriate workflow before paying rather than treating “unlimited streaming” as a loop guarantee.
Compare the price with the work it saves
The consulted StreamYard help material does not establish current plan prices. Check the live checkout for your country, billing period, and plan before deciding whether the saved effort justifies the cost. Consider how many separate streams you need scheduled at once, the longest file you will use, and whether you actually need a livestream rather than a regular YouTube upload.

Separate stream duration from recordings and storage
StreamYard says paid plans have no StreamYard-side limit on how long a stream can run, subject to destination limits. That general statement should not be read as unlimited prerecorded-file length or unlimited retention of recordings.
StreamYard’s storage documentation gives its own live-stream recording limits as 10 hours per stream on Core, Advanced, and Teams, and 24 hours on Business. Default storage is 5 hours on Free, 50 hours on Core, Advanced, and Teams, and 700+ hours on Business. If storage is full, a broadcast can continue, but StreamYard says it will not record streams there until space is freed or increased. Prerecorded broadcasts are no longer automatically saved to the StreamYard library, according to its prerecorded-stream instructions.

YouTube’s archive behavior is separate: its webcam-stream guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that a stream exceeding 12 hours will be archived, or confuse a YouTube archive with a StreamYard cloud recording. For a daily broadcast you want archived, keep the event below YouTube’s 12-hour threshold and confirm where the finished copy is available.
Set up the YouTube channel before scheduling
YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance requires a verified channel and no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Enabling live streaming after verification can take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup instructions. StreamYard’s prerecorded-stream workflow requires connecting the destination and choosing a scheduled time; its YouTube connection guide says a desktop workflow can bypass the mobile-app subscriber requirement. That is StreamYard’s description of its workflow, not an exemption from YouTube’s other live-stream rules.

- Verify the YouTube channel and enable live streaming in YouTube. Allow up to 24 hours after verification for activation.
- Connect YouTube as a StreamYard destination and confirm that the channel appears as an available destination.
- Upload an MP4 using H.264 video encoding, or select an existing recording. Check that the file fits the plan’s duration and size caps and does not exceed the documented 10 Mbps upload-bitrate maximum.
- Choose the destination, date, and time, then create the scheduled broadcast. Schedule up to 365 days ahead if useful, while observing the plan’s limit on streams scheduled at once.
- Check the announcement-post time and the YouTube destination. StreamYard says a YouTube share link appears at the announcement-post time if an announcement is scheduled, or when the stream goes live if it is not.
Will repeated videos affect monetization or rights?
A recurring schedule or format is not, by itself, described as automatically disqualifying. But YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to livestreams and expect original, authentic content. On July 15, 2025, YouTube clarified that repetitive or mass-produced material is covered by its “inauthentic content” policy. Similar formats can be acceptable when the substance varies meaningfully; repetitive material with little variation or viewer value can put monetization eligibility at risk.
Rights are a separate requirement. YouTube’s livestream terms require you to hold the necessary rights for live and archived content, including applicable music rights. Before scheduling a loop, check permissions for the footage, music, images, and any other material in every video. Owning a copy or finding a track online does not establish that you have the rights needed to broadcast and archive it.
Common problems and what to check
- The prerecorded option is unavailable: It is not part of StreamYard Free. Check the plan attached to the account and the current plan feature list.
- The video will not upload: Confirm MP4 format, H.264 video encoding, the plan’s file-size cap, and the 10 Mbps maximum upload bitrate. Also check that the video does not exceed the plan’s duration cap.
- The stream ends after one play: That is the documented behavior. StreamYard ends a prerecorded broadcast when the video finishes; the help page does not document automatic looping.
- The stream is live but no StreamYard recording appears: Prerecorded broadcasts are no longer automatically saved to the StreamYard library. For other live-stream recordings, check StreamYard’s plan recording-length and storage limits.
- A stream is not recorded to StreamYard: Check whether the event exceeded the plan’s per-stream recording duration or the account’s available storage. A broadcast may continue when storage is full even though StreamYard does not record it.
- YouTube does not offer the expected archive: Check the broadcast length. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not rely on automatic archiving for longer streams.
- The scheduled stream cannot go live: Confirm live streaming is enabled, the channel is verified, and there is no live-stream restriction from the preceding 90 days. If live streaming was only just enabled, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- A live stream buffers or drops: For a camera-led production, YouTube recommends upload bandwidth of about 20% above the total stream bitrate and advises testing the setup. This bandwidth guidance is less relevant to a prerecorded upload workflow than to a computer sending a live feed, but destination or connection issues can still affect a broadcast.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your actual goal is a continuously looping YouTube channel rather than a scheduled one-time broadcast, StreamNeo is the more directly aligned option: it keeps an uploaded video or playlist live from the cloud, with any quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot and a free first day. The workflow is three steps: upload your video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not need to stay on, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. It streams to YouTube only; it does not go live from a camera.
There is no card required for the first day, with one free day per account. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo for details, or start the free first day.
