No confirmed on-screen Nico di Angelo cameo appears in Percy Jackson Episode 6. What the showrunners confirmed is an audio Easter egg in the Lotus Casino arcade: a background voice calls, “Bianca? Bianca!”—a reference to Nico and his sister, Bianca di Angelo.
What happens in the Lotus Casino scene?
The moment is in the arcade near the virtual-reality games, while Grover talks with the satyr Augustus. In a January 18, 2024 interview, showrunner Dan Shotz confirmed that the production added background audio there, describing “people cheering for our friends who we will hopefully reveal in the future.” When the interviewer mentioned hearing the Bianca call, co-showrunner Jonathan E. Steinberg replied, “You’re not going insane.” ComicBook.com reported the exchange.
The Los Angeles Times also reported on January 30, 2024, that the showrunners confirmed Nico and Bianca were mentioned in the background of the Lotus Casino scene. Its interview provides separate reporting of the confirmation.
Is it a visual Nico cameo?
No. The confirmed clue is sound: the name Bianca is called in the background. The cited creator comments establish an audio reference to the siblings, not a visible appearance by Nico or the actor who might portray him. Fan interpretations of possible visual clues are not established by those comments.

Who are Nico and Bianca di Angelo?
According to Rick Riordan’s official character page, Nico is a Greek demigod, son of Hades and Maria di Angelo, and Bianca’s younger brother. The siblings’ story is associated with The Titan’s Curse, the third Percy Jackson and the Olympians novel. Disney’s current media kit identifies The Titan’s Curse as the basis for Season 3, placing the Easter egg in the context of characters the series may introduce later.
Which Episode 6 is this?
Disney lists the installment as Episode 106, “We Take a Zebra to Vegas.” Its official summary covers Percy, Annabeth, and Grover’s trip to the Lotus Casino, where the experience seems to exist outside time. Disney’s series page identifies the episode.
