Is Nickel Boys included with Amazon Prime?
Possibly, but “on Prime Video” does not automatically mean that the film is included with every Prime account. The title may appear as part of the Prime catalog, the ad-supported catalog, an MGM+ add-on, or a separate rental or purchase.
To check your account:
- Open the official Nickel Boys title page.
- Confirm that the page is set to the United States.

Directed by RaMell Ross and adapted by Ross and Joslyn Barnes from Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, Nickel Boys follows Elwood Curtis and Turner, two Black teenagers sent to a brutal reform school in Jim Crow-era Florida.
The film centers on their friendship as they endure institutional abuse, racial violence, and corruption. It stars Ethan Herisse and Brandon Wilson, is rated PG-13, and runs for about 2 hours 20 minutes—metadata may show the runtime as 2 hours 19 minutes.
