Short answer: NCIS Season 12 is not confirmed to have been removed from Paramount+ everywhere. Paramount’s U.S. episode page includes Season 12 in its season selector, but that does not guarantee every episode will play for every subscriber or in every country. Paramount says it is working to expand its catalog; it has not announced a Season 12-specific fix or restoration date.

What Paramount’s pages establish—and what they do not
Paramount’s NCIS episode page has a season selector that includes Season 12. That is evidence the season is represented in Paramount’s catalog navigation, not proof that every subscriber can access or play it. A season may appear in a selector while an episode is unavailable, locked, or failing to load.

Paramount’s video-on-demand availability guidance says availability depends on multiple factors and that Paramount is working to make more seasons and episodes available. It does not name NCIS Season 12 or promise a return date. There is no verified public confirmation of a nationwide removal, a universal app bug, or a Season 12 restoration timetable.

First, identify what “missing” means
The right next step depends on what you see. Note whether the season is absent from the list, visible but locked, or visible with episodes that fail to play. Also note whether the problem occurs on one device or everywhere. Those differences help separate a navigation or app issue from an account, playback, or catalog problem.
- Season 12 is absent from the list: Check the season selector on the official series page and compare it with another device.
- The season appears but is locked: Check which account and subscription route you are using; a channel-partner subscription may have a different entitlement path.
- Episodes appear but will not play: Record the error message and test another episode and device before contacting support.
- It is missing everywhere: A catalog, regional-rights, account, or service-side issue is more plausible than a problem limited to one app screen, but the cause is not established until Paramount confirms it.
Check that you have the original NCIS
Search for NCIS, the original CBS series—not NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawai’i, NCIS: Sydney, NCIS: Origins, or NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Paramount lists the franchise’s shows separately in its NCIS franchise overview, and availability for one title does not establish availability for another. Paramount Global’s NCIS title page also identifies the original series separately.

Why Season 12 may not appear
Country and licensing differences
Paramount+ catalogs are not identical worldwide. The U.S. page or a search result may show a season that is unavailable in another market. Paramount’s availability guidance describes multiple factors affecting on-demand access. User posts can point to possible regional or display differences, but they are anecdotal—not confirmation of the official catalog or the reason for a specific subscriber’s problem. Do not assume a VPN will solve it; location, licensing, and service terms may apply.
App navigation or display trouble
A season row may not show every season at once, and interfaces differ. A season that is present on the website but absent in a TV app points toward a device or app display issue; it does not prove the season is playable on that account.

Account or billing-channel mismatch
Check whether your subscription is billed directly by Paramount+ or accessed through Amazon Prime Video Channels, Apple, Roku, Google, a bundle, or another provider. You may be signed into the wrong account or using a partner channel’s implementation rather than the standalone Paramount+ app.
Temporary service or playback error
If the season recently appeared and then vanished across devices, or if multiple episodes fail at once, a temporary service defect is possible. That pattern alone does not identify the cause. Reports of season-navigation and episode-display problems exist, but they are user anecdotes rather than confirmation of an NCIS Season 12 incident: NCIS discussion and Paramount+ discussion.

Try these checks in order
- Open the original series page. Search for NCIS and open the series itself rather than relying only on a saved Continue Watching tile.
- Select Season 12 directly. Use the season selector on Paramount’s NCIS episode page. Do not assume the seasons initially visible in a row are the entire list.
- Compare the website and another supported device. Try the Paramount+ website in a desktop browser, the mobile app, and a TV or streaming-device app if available. If possible, test the same account on another network. If it fails on just one device, focus on that app; if it fails everywhere, document that result for support.
- Sign out, then sign back in. This can refresh the session and account entitlements, but it is not a confirmed fix for a catalog omission.
- Update the app, then reinstall only if needed. Use your device’s normal app-store update process. Before reinstalling, make sure you know your login; downloaded episodes may need to be downloaded again.
- Verify the subscription route and account. Check the billing provider and confirm that the app or channel you opened is tied to the account with the subscription.
- Check location and profile settings. Note your country, whether you are traveling, and whether a VPN, proxy, DNS filter, corporate network, parental control, or restricted profile could affect access. Do not misrepresent your location or try to bypass licensing restrictions.
When to contact Paramount+ support
Contact support if Season 12 remains absent or unplayable after comparing the website and another device, or if you see an entitlement or playback error. Use Paramount’s official help center. Give support enough detail to distinguish a catalog listing from a sign-in, billing, or playback issue:

- Exact title: NCIS, the original series; season: 12.
- Whether the season is absent, locked, or listed but produces an error.
- Your country and state or province, plus whether you are traveling.
- Device model, operating-system version, and Paramount+ app version if available.
- Whether your subscription is direct-billed or provided through another company.
- Whether the issue also occurs on the website and another device or network.
- The error text, screenshots, and date and time of the failure.
Those details make it easier for support to assess whether the issue is tied to the account, platform, location, or catalog. Ask whether the season is available for your market and subscription route; do not assume that support can manually restore it.

Is a fix in the works?
Paramount says it is working to expand the seasons and episodes available on demand. That general statement is not a confirmation that NCIS Season 12 is currently being restored, and it gives no verified date for this specific issue. Treat claims of an imminent fix as unconfirmed unless Paramount provides a case-specific update.
If Paramount+ still does not offer the season
Before paying for another service or starting a new subscription, establish whether the season is missing across devices and ask support to check your market and entitlement. Resubscribing is not a reliable solution to a catalog or regional-rights issue.
If Paramount confirms the season is unavailable to you, check legal options in your country: a digital TV store may sell individual episodes or the season, and a library may have the DVD or access through interlibrary loan. Availability, price, video quality, subtitles, and purchase terms vary by market and storefront. Verify that the listing is for the original NCIS Season 12 before paying. Paramount’s service page is also available if you want to check its current offering for your market, but a subscription is only useful if the season is included through your specific account route.
