No. Jason Momoa does not appear as Duncan Idaho in Dune: Part Two. Duncan dies in Dune: Part One, and the later installment associated with Momoa’s return is Dune: Part Three.
Why Duncan Idaho is absent from Dune: Part Two
In the first film, Duncan dies fighting Sardaukar while helping Paul and Jessica escape. That story outcome is why Momoa does not return as Duncan in Part Two. ComingSoon’s February 29, 2024 report also said Momoa would not be in the second film: ComingSoon’s report on Momoa and Duncan Idaho.

When is Jason Momoa expected to return to Dune?
Timothée Chalamet was reported by ComingSoon as saying, “Momoa will be back. Not in this one, but [in Dune Messiah].” The wording is attributed to Chalamet in ComingSoon’s report; it is not a direct interview transcript or a statement from Momoa or director Denis Villeneuve.
There is now official confirmation of Momoa’s involvement in the subsequent film: the official Dune: Part Three site lists him among its stars. The site gives a North American theatrical date of December 18, 2026, with international release beginning December 16, 2026; release schedules can change.
