No—not automatically. Shaw customers generally pay extra for Crave unless their specific TV package, promotion or account credit includes it. Check your MyRogers (Shaw) account and bill before subscribing: a Crave app or tile appearing on your TV does not prove you have an active subscription.
The answer also depends on which Shaw service you have. Rogers Together with Shaw cable customers use MyRogers (Shaw) to manage TV add-ons; Shaw Direct satellite customers have a separate subscription process. Internet-only service should not be assumed to include premium Crave.
When might Crave cost a Shaw customer nothing extra?
Crave may be included or partly offset in an individual offer, but that does not make it a standard benefit for every Shaw customer. Check your order confirmation, service agreement and current bill for the terms. “Free” can mean several different things:
- Included in a TV package: There may be no separate Crave charge, although the package itself may cost more.
- Promotional credit or free period: A credit may cover the charge temporarily. Check when it expires and what you will pay afterward.
- Bundle discount: Crave may appear as a charge with an offsetting credit. Look at both lines rather than assuming the service is permanently free.
- Crave’s free account tier: Crave offers limited ad-supported programming independently of Shaw. It is not the same as a paid provider subscription or proof that Shaw has included premium access. Bell Media describes the free account option.
Promotions and negotiated offers can differ between customers and change over time. Do not rely on another Shaw customer’s experience as proof of what your own plan includes.

Does Shaw Internet include Crave?
Do not assume that Shaw Internet alone includes premium Crave. Rogers’ instructions describe Crave as a TV add-on for Rogers Together with Shaw customers, while Shaw Direct requires an active TV subscription. If you have Internet-only service, confirm any specific offer in your account or service agreement rather than treating Internet access as a Crave entitlement.
How to check whether Crave is included or being charged
- Sign in to MyRogers (Shaw).
- Open My Services, then look under TV, current channels, subscriptions or Channel Add-ons. The exact labels can vary by account interface.
- Check whether Crave appears as a base channel or an add-on. Rogers explains how to view channel listings and distinguish base channels from add-ons.
- Review the latest bill for “Crave,” “Crave On Demand,” premium-channel charges, bundle discounts and promotional credits. Rogers says Shaw customers can view current and previous bills through MyRogers (Shaw).
- If a credit or promotional period appears, check its end date and the amount due once it expires. Compare the bill with your original order or service agreement.
Your bill is the practical check on what you are paying. A Crave logo, app or channel listing on the TV interface is not enough to establish whether the subscription is included, charged or credited.
How much does Crave cost through Shaw?
There is no single Shaw-wide price established by the official support information cited here. For Rogers Together with Shaw cable, the ordering flow shows the price for your account before you confirm. That displayed amount—and any applicable promotion or credit—is more useful than an old advertised price, because offers and account terms can change.

How to add Crave through Rogers Together with Shaw
- Sign in to MyRogers (Shaw).
- Select My Services and open Add-ons or Channel Add-ons.
- Search for Crave and select Order now or Subscribe.
- Review the price, promotion, applicable terms and 30-day minimum subscription period.
- Confirm only if the total and terms work for you.
Rogers says an added channel should appear on the TV service in about 10 minutes. Streaming-app access may still require a separate provider sign-in and account link. See Rogers’ channel-ordering instructions and Crave FAQs for Rogers TV.
How to activate Crave in the app or on the website
Having a Crave subscription on your TV account and linking it to the Crave app are related but separate steps. If your Rogers Together with Shaw subscription is active, use provider authentication:
- Open the Crave app or website and choose Sign in.
- Select Sign in Through my TV Provider.
- Search for and choose Rogers or Rogers together with Shaw.
- Sign in with the MyRogers (Shaw) credentials associated with the TV subscription.
- On your first provider sign-in, follow the prompts to create or link a Bell Media account and enter the one-time email verification code.
Choosing the wrong provider or signing in with credentials for a separate direct Crave account can prevent the app from recognizing your TV entitlement. Rogers lists these provider-login steps and troubleshooting advice in its Crave support information.

First confirm that the subscription is active and that the bill does not show only an expired promotion or a different Crave-related charge. Then check that you selected Rogers or Rogers together with Shaw in the provider-login flow and used the MyRogers (Shaw) credentials tied to the TV account. If you are signed into a separate direct Crave account, sign out and try provider sign-in instead.

If the entitlement still does not appear, allow time for a recent order to take effect, then sign out and back in. Rogers says new channels should reach the TV service in approximately 10 minutes, but that timing does not guarantee the streaming app has linked correctly. If the account still fails to authenticate, contact Rogers support to confirm the TV entitlement and credentials.
Shaw Direct customers: a separate satellite-TV service
Shaw Direct is not the same account or add-on system as Rogers Together with Shaw cable. Shaw Direct’s support information says customers need an active Shaw Direct TV subscription to add Crave; it does not say Crave is free for all Shaw Direct customers. Shaw Direct describes access through the Crave app and website, Rogers Xfinity Stream for on-demand content, Shaw On Demand and linear TV channels. Available programming and access can depend on the package and current content rights, so check the terms for your specific Shaw Direct service.

If you already pay Crave directly and add it through Shaw/Rogers, you may end up with two subscriptions. Before confirming a new order, check whether your existing Crave account is billed directly or through a TV provider. Decide which billing route you want and review the cancellation terms for the other one; changing provider access does not necessarily cancel a separate direct subscription automatically.

Prices, promotions, account screens and content availability can change. Check the amount and terms shown in your account at the time you subscribe; the key distinction remains that Crave is not automatically free for every Shaw customer.
