Yes—Big Ten Network is available through Hulu + Live TV in the United States, but it is not part of Hulu’s regular on-demand plan. Hulu’s live-channel lineup lists the network as “BIG TEN.” Check your home ZIP code before subscribing, since channel availability varies by location.
Which Hulu plan includes Big Ten Network?
You need Hulu + Live TV to watch the live BTN channel. A regular Hulu subscription gives you access to Hulu’s on-demand library, not the live BTN channel. The higher-priced, premium Hulu + Live TV option also includes the live-TV service; paying for an ad-free on-demand library by itself does not unlock BTN.
Hulu displayed its ad-supported Hulu + Live TV package at $89.99 per month and its premium option at $99.99 per month on August 18, 2026. Hulu also showed a three-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Prices, promotions, plan inclusions and channel lineups can change, so check the current offer before signing up. The package is a broad live-TV bundle, not a BTN-only subscription; Hulu’s listed sports add-on is not described as a way to add BTN to basic Hulu.
Check whether BTN is available at your address
Hulu’s lineup can vary by location. Before subscribing, open Hulu’s Hulu + Live TV page, find “Channels in your area,” and enter your home ZIP code. Look for BIG TEN in the results. Hulu uses that label for the BTN channel; “BTN” and “BIG TEN” are not separate channels in this listing.

Hulu says Live TV is available in the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. If you are outside that area, do not assume Hulu + Live TV or its BTN channel is available to you.
How to watch BTN on Hulu
- Confirm that BTN appears in the channel lineup for your home ZIP code.
- Subscribe to a Hulu + Live TV plan, if available in your area.
- Open Hulu on its website or a supported device, then use the Live Guide to find “BIG TEN” or search for “BTN.”
- Check the guide’s schedule: BTN may be showing studio programming, a replay or another event when the game you want is not on.
Hulu lists support for web browsers, phones and tablets, streaming players, game consoles and selected smart TVs. Support can vary by device model, and a compatible device and internet connection are required. Hulu may also require location data for some Live TV viewing, particularly on mobile devices. Does Hulu have every Big Ten game?
No. Having BTN in your lineup does not mean every Big Ten game will air on BTN or be available to you. Big Ten events are distributed across multiple networks and services, depending on the sport, event and rights arrangements. Hulu describes college football coverage across BTN and other networks, including FOX, FS1, CBS, ESPN and ABC, but availability can depend on your market and the specific broadcast.
It helps to distinguish channel carriage—whether BTN appears in your Hulu lineup—from game availability—whether the particular event is airing on BTN and can be watched where you are. Hulu warns that regional restrictions and blackouts can apply. Check the event listing in Hulu’s guide and the applicable schedule if a specific game is your reason for subscribing.

BTN is not the same as BTN+
Hulu’s listing verifies access to the linear Big Ten Network channel through Hulu + Live TV where available. It does not establish that a Hulu subscription includes a separate BTN+ subscription or every event streamed on BTN+. If the event you want is advertised as a BTN+ stream, check the current BTN+ terms rather than assuming the Hulu channel covers it.
If BTN does not appear
First check that your account has Hulu + Live TV, not just an on-demand Hulu plan, and that you are looking in the Live Guide rather than the on-demand library. Then try these steps:

- Recheck the home ZIP code and the channel lineup shown for that location.
- Search for both “BIG TEN” and “BTN.”
- Sign out and back in, then update or restart the Hulu app.
- Confirm that the event is scheduled for BTN rather than another network or BTN+.
- Consider whether a blackout, regional restriction, viewing location or device limitation is affecting access.
- If the channel is still missing despite appearing in your ZIP-code lineup, contact Hulu support for TV channels and live sports.
Hulu currently advertises unlimited DVR with recordings stored for up to nine months. Recording a program can help if you cannot watch at its scheduled time, but DVR does not mean every show or game is available as an on-demand title, and it does not override rights restrictions. Hulu’s standard Live TV plan also allows two simultaneous screens; more require the applicable add-on.

It may make sense if BTN appears in your ZIP-code lineup and you also want Hulu’s on-demand library and the bundle’s other included services and live channels. It is a much broader—and costlier—choice if you only want BTN or one particular game. The key checks are whether the channel is available at your address, whether the event is actually on BTN, and whether the full bundle is worth its current monthly price to you.
