But there is no verified, complete inventory or reliable current total: some figures are historical purchase or sale prices, one is a real-estate site’s estimate, and one reported holding in Portugal rests on an anonymous source. Their divorce was finalized in January 2026, with property arrangements shaped by trusts, LLCs and prior agreements—not a documented, simple split of every house.
Where reports place their properties
The locations below reflect the specific reporting available, not a confirmed post-divorce list of jointly owned homes. The figures are historical and should not be added together as a present-day portfolio value.
Nashville, Tennessee
Realtor.com reported in 2025 that the couple bought a Nashville-area estate early in their marriage for $3.47 million; its account describes a seven-bedroom main house and amenities. A separate EL PAÍS English report, published in October 2025, described a farm bought in 2008 for $3 million at the time, with a seven-bedroom home, theater, tennis court and pool. Those accounts differ in price and description, so they should not be combined into a single definitive property record. The Associated Press reported that the daughters were expected to remain in Nashville after the divorce. Realtor.com, AP, EL PAÍS English
Sydney, Australia
Realestate.com.au reported in 2026 that Kidman sold a three-bedroom apartment on the 15th floor of the Latitude complex at Milsons Point for A$8.5 million. The report said she bought it in 2023 for A$7.725 million and that the sale took place in mid-2025, before the divorce was finalized. It also described the apartment as one of six acquisitions in the complex. EL PAÍS English separately reported two apartments overlooking Sydney Harbour in October 2025; that earlier account should not be read as a current count after the reported sale. realestate.com.au, EL PAÍS English

Southern Highlands, Australia
EL PAÍS English described a 100-acre farm in the Southern Highlands with an 1878 Georgian-style mansion. Realestate.com.au identified the property as Bunya Hill and reported that it cost $6 million in 2008. These are publication-reported details; no title record or present valuation is established by those accounts. realestate.com.au, EL PAÍS English
Beverly Hills, California
Realtor.com reported a $4.7 million purchase in 2008 and estimated the home was worth more than $9 million in 2025. The latter is that outlet’s estimate, not a recorded sale price or formal appraisal. EL PAÍS English described the property as a five-bedroom mansion. Realtor.com, EL PAÍS English
New York
EL PAÍS English reported two apartments, one in Tribeca and one in Chelsea, and described their sizes and features. Those details are secondary reporting, not independently reviewed title records. EL PAÍS English
London
In September 2026, Kidman reportedly told British Vogue that she had owned an apartment near Notting Hill for 21 years: “I’ve had it for 20 years … 21 actually,” as quoted by Realtor.com. Realtor.com characterized the interview as her first public confirmation that she owned London property. The reporting establishes the general area and duration she gave, but not further property details. Realtor.com

Portugal: an unconfirmed report
Realtor.com reported that Kidman applied for Portuguese residency and cited an anonymous source who said the pair owned a home there. That is not independent confirmation of a property holding; residency paperwork by itself does not establish ownership. Realtor.com
What the divorce does—and does not—tell us about the homes
The Associated Press reported that a Nashville judge dissolved the marriage on January 6, 2026, after the couple had settled asset and custody issues. Their plan provided for a roughly equal division of joint assets, and neither parent needed child or spousal support. Court-related reporting says real estate was held through trusts, LLCs or other entities, with the agreement assigning property according to those entities and prior agreements. A roughly equal division of joint assets does not establish that every property was sold, transferred, or divided at equal market value. AP, EL PAÍS English
A January 2026 report about the Sydney apartment said no further property transactions were apparent at that time and that the filing indicated each party would retain individual properties. That is a dated account, not proof of current title to every home. The sources do not establish a complete post-divorce inventory.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why there is no defensible portfolio total
The reported numbers measure different things: past purchase prices, one reported sale price and a publisher’s estimate. The coverage also varies in how it describes properties, and several locations are reported without independently reviewed ownership records. No complete current inventory or appraisal is established in these accounts, so adding the figures would create a misleading total rather than a reliable valuation.
