Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s 2024 holiday card was a digital greeting emailed to professional colleagues and acquaintances. Its six images included a family photograph of Archie and Lilibet approaching their parents outdoors, with the children’s faces not visible. The card was reported on December 16, 2024; it is distinct from the Sussexes’ later 2025 holiday greeting.
What was in Harry and Meghan’s 2024 Christmas card?
The card contained six images, not just the family photograph. ITV described the other pictures as reflecting the couple’s year, including public appearances and travel. ITV’s December 16, 2024 report covered the card and its contents.
The family photograph
In the family image, Harry and Meghan are outdoors as Archie and Lilibet approach them. The children’s faces are not shown. British Vogue described the setting as presumably the family’s home in Montecito, California, so the location is not confirmed. Vogue also identified the couple’s beagles, Mamma Mia and Guy, and their black Labrador, Pula. British Vogue’s report described the photograph and its details.
The card’s greeting
ITV transcribed the message as: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful New Year.”

Who received the card?
ITV reported that the digital card was intended for professional use by the couple and their team. A separate card sent to close family and friends was to remain private. The publicly reported six-image card should therefore not be mistaken for the private greeting.
How the 2024 card differs from the 2025 holiday greeting
The dates matter: the card described above was reported on December 16, 2024. The Sussexes’ official website later published a holiday greeting dated 2025, and a new family photograph was reported around that later greeting. Those are separate items, not a later version of the six-image 2024 card. The official Sussex website is the source for the later greeting.
