The important distinction is between interactive content and ordinary streaming video. The original system needed a prepared clip with motion instructions, an authorized app, and a compatible device. A wireless connection by itself did not make a video interactive.

How the synchronization worked
The system was best understood as a content-and-device protocol rather than a simple Bluetooth trick.
- Select prepared content. The viewer needed a video marked or prepared for interactive playback. The video contained, or was associated with, motion instructions intended for a supported device or device family.
- Open the authorized connection layer. The user paired the hardware through FeelConnect or the relevant authorized software. The Fleshlight Launch documentation specifically directed users to the authorized FeelConnect app and cautioned against unapproved third-party control software.
- Translate the content data. The app and connected service converted the video’s instructions into device actions such as stroking, vibration, or other programmed patterns.
- Actuate in real time. That distinction matters for anyone shopping based on an old 2017 article or video. The original setup documentation confirms that the Kiiroo-powered model was intended for original Fleshlight products and authorized FeelConnect control.
