Imagine Dragons announced their sixth studio album, LOOM, on 22 April 2024, setting its release for 28 June and pairing it with a North American headline tour planned to run from 30 July to 22 October 2024. The album arrived on schedule. The tour dates and ticket-sale details below are historical, not current offers.
What Imagine Dragons announced
Universal Music Canada’s 22 April 2024 announcement set LOOM for release on 28 June through KIDinaKORNER/Interscope/Universal Music Canada. It described the record as the band’s sixth full-length studio album, with nine tracks produced by Imagine Dragons and longtime collaborators Mattman and Robin. The album was released on 28 June 2024. Universal Music Canada’s announcement and its release-day report document the announcement and release.
The label’s release-day copy identifies “Eyes Closed” and “Nice to Meet You” as singles. Its descriptions of the songs’ styles are promotional language, rather than independent critical assessments.
The original 2024 tour itinerary
The April announcement called the dates the band’s biggest North American headline tour to date. Its itinerary began on 30 July 2024 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, and ended on 22 October at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The dates below refer to that initial announcement, not a present-day tour schedule. Presale and general onsale dates in the announcement were also for 2024 and should not be treated as active ticket offers.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The June release-day report published an updated itinerary that differed from the April list. In particular, it added a second Toronto night and additional Salt Lake City dates. Because the two versions are not identical, consult the specific dated announcement when checking a historical date rather than combining the lists as if they were one unchanged schedule.
What Dan Reynolds said about the album
In an Associated Press interview, frontman Dan Reynolds described the ambiguity of LOOM’s cover image: “You can’t really tell if it’s a sunset or a sunrise, and there are two people kind of separated standing in front of it.” He connected that uncertainty to the possibility of endings or beginnings. The AP portrays the nine-song album as moving between contrasting moods and quotes Reynolds describing his approach to writing as drawing on what he feels in the moment. Physical editions and track listing
Interscope’s official product page describes a LOOM LP as one record in a gatefold jacket and provides its nine-track sequence. That page establishes the format and packaging, but not current stock or pricing. See Interscope’s LOOM LP listing.
Edition details vary by territory. Universal Music Japan’s 25 April 2024 announcement described its Japan-market CD edition as including lyrics, translation and a bonus track; it listed catalogue number UICS-1405 and a price of ¥2,860 including tax at that time. Those details apply to that localized edition and historical price, not every regional release or current pricing. The available product descriptions do not establish a difference in audio mastering between editions.
