UFC 306 is no longer a live or upcoming PPV. The event took place at Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 14, 2024, with Merab Dvalishvili facing Sean O’Malley in the main event. If you want to watch it now, check the official UFC event-replay listing and the UFC Fight Pass library in your country. Availability, purchase options, and whether the full main card is included can vary by region.

How UFC 306 was originally broadcast in the U.S.

The original U.S. schedule was divided into three portions. The times below are historical; they are not a current live schedule.

Segment Original U.S. start time Original distribution
Early prelims 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT ESPN+, ESPN News, and UFC Fight Pass
Prelims 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT ESPN2, ESPN News, and ESPN+
Main card 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT ESPN+ PPV

For the original U.S. distribution, the main card was an ESPN+ pay-per-view purchase rather than part of an ordinary assumption that every ESPN+ subscriber automatically received the event. That historical arrangement should not be treated as proof that ESPN+ still sells the UFC 306 live PPV today.

How to watch UFC 306 online now

  1. Start with the official UFC event page. Look for the UFC 306 event listing and its replay option. The page may show a replay button, a purchase option, or a notice directing you to a regional broadcaster.
  2. Check UFC Fight Pass. UFC says numbered-event PPVs are initially sold separately and later added to the Fight Pass library. UFC’s guidance also says recent PPV events are generally added about one month after their live broadcast.
  3. Confirm what your location includes. The Fight Pass catalog is not identical in every country. Local broadcast agreements can affect whether you can watch the early prelims, the main card, or the entire event.
  4. Review the current price and account requirements before paying. Prices, subscription terms, and catalog placement can change. Do not assume that a Fight Pass subscription includes every UFC PPV in every market.

The safest current wording is: check the UFC Fight Pass replay listing in your region. A listing may provide the full event, only selected bouts, or a link to another authorized distributor. If UFC 306 does not appear in your local catalog, use the broadcaster identified for your country rather than relying on an unofficial stream.

Watching UFC 306 on a TV

UFC’s device instructions cover web browsers, iPhone and iPad, Android devices and Android TV, Apple TV, Xbox, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, and LG Smart TV, among other supported platforms. App names, menus, and availability can change, so install the current official UFC or authorized broadcaster app from your device’s own app store.

For a television without a supported built-in app, an Amazon Fire TV Stick can provide a way to install supported streaming applications. The device itself does not include UFC 306, ESPN+, UFC Fight Pass, a subscription, or a PPV purchase. You would still need the appropriate official app, account, and paid access where required.

Basic TV setup

  1. Connect the streaming device to an HDMI port and complete its ordinary internet and account setup.
  2. Open the device’s official app store and search for the UFC or authorized broadcaster app.
  3. Install the app, sign in, and check the UFC 306 listing before buying or starting playback.
  4. If the event is unavailable, verify your account region and the service’s current local catalog rather than repeatedly reinstalling the app.

Does a VPN let you watch UFC 306?

A VPN can encrypt traffic between your device and the VPN provider and may be useful when you are using an untrusted public Wi-Fi network. That is a privacy and network-security use case—not a guarantee that you can access UFC 306.

Do not use a VPN to evade ESPN+, UFC Fight Pass, or another broadcaster’s geographic licensing rules, blackout restrictions, payment requirements, or terms of service. The available research does not establish that any VPN is authorized to unlock UFC 306 in a restricted territory. A VPN does not automatically make a stream legal, provide a PPV purchase, or override the catalog shown by your local service.

If you are using a VPN for lawful privacy on public Wi-Fi and playback is unstable, try the ordinary troubleshooting steps: use a nearby permitted server, test the connection without the VPN, update the streaming app, restart the device and router, and check the broadcaster’s device and regional requirements. If the service blocks VPN traffic, follow its terms and use the officially available service in your location.

What to do if the replay will not play

  • The event is missing: Check the regional UFC Fight Pass catalog and the official broadcaster listed for your country. Do not assume missing content is an app error.
  • You can see the event but cannot start it: Confirm that you are signed into the account that has the necessary subscription or purchase. A device login alone does not establish PPV access.
  • The video buffers: Test the internet connection, move closer to the router if using Wi-Fi, pause other downloads, update the app, and try a supported browser or device.
  • The app is unavailable on your television: Check the device’s country setting and app store, then use a supported browser, casting method, game console, or streaming device if offered by the service.
  • A Windows computer is slow or unstable: Check the browser, operating-system updates, drivers, available storage, and background processes first. General Windows repair or driver-maintenance tools may help with broader PC problems, but there is no evidence that such a tool specifically improves UFC or ESPN streaming quality.

UFC 306 event context

UFC promoted the card as a Mexican-Independence-Day-weekend event and presented it as the first sports event produced at Sphere. UFC later reported a sold-out attendance of 16,024 and a $22 million gate, describing both as single-event records for UFC and Sphere at the time.

The card’s main event was Sean O’Malley versus Merab Dvalishvili for the UFC bantamweight championship. Alexa Grasso versus Valentina Shevchenko was the co-main event. Because this is now a replay and event-history guide, the results are included below.

Why unofficial UFC 306 streams are a bad option

Unauthorized streams can disappear without warning, expose viewers to malicious advertising or downloads, and violate copyright or platform rules. They also cannot reliably reproduce the official event, replay quality, commentary, or account protections. Use the UFC event listing, UFC Fight Pass, ESPN+, or the authorized broadcaster for your region instead.

Can I use a VPN to watch UFC 306 from another country?

The article does not recommend using a VPN to bypass geographic licensing, blackouts, payment controls, or broadcaster terms. A VPN may provide privacy on public Wi-Fi, but it does not guarantee access or make restricted streaming lawful.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: UFC 306 was a September 14, 2024 event, not a current live PPV. For a legal replay, check the official UFC event page and UFC Fight Pass listing for your country, verify exactly which bouts and access rights are included, and use a supported device or streaming platform. Treat VPNs as privacy tools—not as a way to bypass regional restrictions.
