In the United States, the complete first season of Trophy Wife: Murder on Safari is available on Hulu. The true-crime documentary series has three episodes. An official Disney+ listing also exists in the U.S. and several other countries, but playback depends on your location and subscription plan.
Where to watch Trophy Wife: Murder on Safari
For U.S. viewers, Hulu is the clearest and most directly verified streaming destination. ABC News Studios announced the program as a Hulu streaming exclusive, and Hulu’s official title page lists all three episodes.

The series also has an official Disney+ U.S. listing. That does not necessarily mean every Disney+ subscriber can play it: Hulu integration, catalog access and required plans vary by country. If you already subscribe to Disney+, open the listing while signed in and confirm that the episodes are playable.

How many episodes are there?
The complete first season contains one season and three episodes:
- “Jekyll & Hyde” — approximately 41 minutes
- “Something Fishy” — approximately 40 minutes
- “Crocodile Tears” — approximately 43 minutes
The runtimes are approximate platform metadata and may differ slightly depending on how a service displays them. Episode titles and season information are listed by Apple TV and Disney+.

Disney+ availability can differ according to territory, plan and how Hulu programming is incorporated into the local service. Is there a free way to watch?

What is the series about?
Trophy Wife: Murder on Safari examines the death of Bianca Rudolph during a safari in Zambia and the international investigation involving her husband, dentist Larry Rudolph. The documentary explores the couple’s marriage, an affair and the competing questions surrounding whether the death was accidental or deliberate.

The U.S. Hulu and Disney+ listings identify the program as TV-MA. It deals with murder, sexual relationships, criminal allegations and disturbing true-crime material, making it unsuitable for children. Ratings may differ in other countries.
When did it premiere?
The U.S. premiere was scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2025. ABC News Studios announced the three-part series for streaming on Hulu. The production was made by XTR in association with Rolling Stone Films and ABC News Studios for Hulu, and directed by Dani Sloane.

- Open the full series page: A search preview or trailer page may not show the season selector.
