Update for August 18, 2026: Starship Flight 11 is not launching today. SpaceX launched the test on October 13, 2025. The official replay and mission timeline are available on SpaceX’s Flight 11 mission page.
Where to watch the Flight 11 replay
For SpaceX’s original webcast, open the official Starship Flight 11 mission page and select its Watch or replay control. The page also includes SpaceX’s mission description and timeline. If the embedded video does not load, refresh the page or try another modern browser.
For independent commentary, NASASpaceflight’s Flight 11 stream on YouTube is an alternate replay, not SpaceX’s official feed. Check that a video is identified as Flight 11 and dated October 13, 2025; a replay may still appear under a “live” title.

The test lifted off from Starbase, Texas, on October 13, 2025, at 6:23 p.m. Central Time (7:23 p.m. ET; 11:23 p.m. UTC). Its historical launch window opened at about 6:15 p.m. CT; those are past event times, not a current schedule. The vehicle was Super Heavy booster 15-2 and Starship 38. SpaceX describes it as the eleventh Starship flight test.

What happened during the test
SpaceX said the major objectives were achieved. Super Heavy launched with all 33 Raptor engines, then separated from Starship in a hot-staging maneuver. The booster performed a boostback and a planned splashdown off the Texas coast; it was not caught by a launch tower.
Starship continued into space, demonstrated deployment of eight Starlink simulators and performed an in-space Raptor relight. It later re-entered the atmosphere, executed a landing flip and landing burn, and made a soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean. SpaceX’s account and the original broadcast are on its mission page.

Why Flight 11 mattered
SpaceX characterized Flight 11 as the final flight of the second-generation Starship and first-generation Super Heavy, and as the final launch from the then-current configuration of Pad 1. Those descriptions reflect SpaceX’s framing at the time of the mission; they do not make Flight 11 a current launch or a fully operational orbital mission.
Flight 11 is not Crew-11
Starship Flight 11 was an uncrewed Starship test. NASA and SpaceX’s Crew-11 referred to a separate crewed Dragon mission. See SpaceX’s Crew-11 page or NASA’s Crew-11 coverage for that mission.

Looking for the latest Starship test?
SpaceX’s launch archive lists Starship Flight 13 as a completed mission dated July 24, 2026. It is a later flight, not another name for Flight 11. Check the SpaceX launch archive for current mission listings; Flight 11’s page is for its historical replay and results.
