Where to watch in Canada
Bell Media’s October 8–14 Crave weekly streaming overview names Crave as the Canadian streaming destination. The announcement confirms the premiere and episode schedule, but does not specify subscription pricing, which plan is required, or how long the series will remain in the catalogue. Check Crave’s current listing for those details.
Release schedule
| Release | Schedule |
|---|---|
| First episode | Sunday, October 11, 2026 |
| Remaining episodes | One new episode on each subsequent Sunday |
| Series length | Three parts |
Bell Media describes this as a three-part docuseries, so it is a series rather than a feature-length documentary. Its announcement does not give calendar dates for the second and third episodes beyond the weekly Sunday cadence.
What the series is about
The series follows the investigation into the 1985 murder of Dorothy Lou Thompson, a pet cemetery owner near New Orleans whose body was found in the Mississippi River. The case went cold before Detective John Doran reopened it in 2009. Bell Media’s description also notes witnesses’ claims about Thompson’s ghost as part of the story.
