The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is no longer live: Nintendo’s dedicated presentation aired on April 2, 2025. You can watch the full replay on Nintendo’s official event page; scroll to the embedded video and press play. Nintendo described the presentation as approximately 60 minutes.

Open Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 – 4.2.2025, then scroll to the embedded video player and select play. The player uses YouTube, but the Nintendo event page is the most direct first-party destination and identifies the exact presentation. If you are looking for other broadcasts, Nintendo’s Nintendo Direct archive lists the replay as well.

- Scroll to the presentation video and press play.
- If the player or page does not load, refresh the page, try another browser or device, or open the event through the Direct archive.
This is a web video presentation; you do not need a Nintendo Switch console just to watch it. Nintendo also provides regional pages, so viewers outside the United States can look for their local Nintendo site. Video language, captions, and related links may vary by region.
When did the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct air?
Nintendo scheduled the dedicated presentation for Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 6 a.m. Pacific Time. The corresponding times that day were:

These are conversions for the original broadcast date, not upcoming livestream times. Nintendo’s archive gives the presentation’s length as approximately 60 minutes, rather than an exact runtime.
It was separate from the March 27 Nintendo Direct
The March 27, 2025 Nintendo Direct and the April 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Direct were separate presentations. Nintendo said the March 27 broadcast focused on upcoming Nintendo Switch games and would not include Nintendo Switch 2 updates. For the Switch 2 presentation, choose the April 2 event page or its archive listing.

What the presentation covered
The April 2 Direct offered a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and features, alongside upcoming games. Nintendo highlighted titles and topics including Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, The Duskbloods, Kirby Air Riders, Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games, GameCube titles through Nintendo Classics, and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. - Refresh the event page and try the player again.
- Try a private or incognito window, another modern browser, or another device.
- Temporarily disable extensions that block embedded video or scripts.
- Use Nintendo’s Direct archive to reopen the April 2 listing.
Nintendo’s event page embeds a YouTube player, so playback controls may look like YouTube even though you reached the video from Nintendo.com. If the U.S. page is not suitable for your region, check your local Nintendo site for its version of the presentation.
