For the original U.S. broadcast, check your local ABC listing before relying on an 8:00 p.m. start. ABC availability is not identical in every market, and a live-TV provider’s channel lineup can change. Contemporary coverage identified DirecTV Stream, fuboTV, and Sling TV as possible alternatives, but none should be treated as a guaranteed nationwide option without checking the viewer’s ZIP code and current plan lineup.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Is Hulu different from Hulu + Live TV?
Yes. Ordinary Hulu is the relevant next-day, on-demand option, while Hulu + Live TV is the separate live-TV tier that may include a local ABC station. A viewer who wants to watch the Wednesday broadcast live needs local ABC access through an antenna, a television provider, or an eligible live-TV service; a viewer who can wait can use Hulu after the episode is released.
| Viewing method | What it is used for | Important condition |
|---|---|---|
| Local ABC station | Watch the original broadcast live | Availability and schedule depend on the local affiliate |
| ABC.com or ABC app live viewing | Stream ABC where live viewing is supported | An eligible television-provider login may be required |
| Hulu on-demand | Watch the episode after the broadcast | Season 1 episodes were scheduled for the following day, typically Thursday |
| Hulu + Live TV | Potentially watch the local ABC broadcast live and use Hulu on demand | Local ABC carriage, market restrictions, and plan terms apply |
| Other live-TV streaming services | Possible cable-free access to ABC | Verify the current local channel lineup before subscribing |
Hulu’s official viewing guide for The Golden Bachelorette describes the Wednesday ABC broadcast pattern and Thursday next-day streaming. Hulu’s next-day catalog and live-TV channel availability are separate matters, so having a Hulu account alone should not be understood to guarantee live ABC.

How do you watch without cable?
The simplest cable-free choice depends on whether you need the live broadcast.
- For next-day viewing: use Hulu on demand after the Wednesday ABC broadcast. This avoids needing a live ABC channel, but you will not watch the episode as it airs.
- For live viewing: use an antenna where the local ABC affiliate is available, or compare live-TV services and verify ABC carriage for your ZIP code.
- For a television without a supported streaming platform: use a compatible streaming device, then install the relevant Hulu or live-TV application. The device does not provide the subscription or the channel by itself.
The Roku Streaming Stick 4K is one example of a dedicated streaming device. Roku says the device connects to a television through HDMI and includes a voice remote and power accessories. A Roku device can help a compatible television access streaming applications, but viewers still need an eligible Hulu or live-TV service, and Roku does not itself include ABC access or a Hulu subscription.
What was the show about?
The Golden Bachelorette was positioned as a senior-focused extension of The Bachelor franchise. Season 1 followed Joan Vassos as 24 men competed for a relationship with her. ABC’s casting announcement identified Vassos as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette.

Has a new season of The Golden Bachelorette been given a premiere date?
The supplied official research does not confirm a current premiere date for a new season. The verified September 18, 2024 date is the original season 1 premiere, not an upcoming broadcast. Check a later ABC schedule or announcement for any future season rather than assuming that the original Wednesday time slot remains current.
ABC’s official materials reviewed for the original season include the first-season schedule and archive information, but they do not provide evidence here for a subsequent-season date. This distinction matters because search results and archived viewing guides can continue to display the 2024 premiere after the broadcast has ended.
