The 2025 UCI Road World Championships are over. Racing took place in Kigali, Rwanda, from September 21–28, 2025, so there is no current live stream. Free viewing depended on territory: BBC and other European public broadcasters carried portions of the event during its live run, while viewers in the United States and Canada generally needed a paid FloBikes subscription for complete races. Today, the most realistic free options are official highlights and any broadcaster replays that have not expired.

Can you still watch the 2025 championships free?
Not as a live event. The championships finished on September 28, 2025. A full, permanently free worldwide archive has not been established. Replay access now depends on the broadcaster, race and country.
- United States and Canada: FloBikes carried the full coverage and lists replays, but access requires a subscription.
- United Kingdom: BBC television, BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer were the official free options during the event. An individual replay may have expired.
- Selected European countries: National public broadcasters offered free-to-air or free streaming coverage for some races. Archive retention varies.
- Other territories: The UCI YouTube channel offered selected races or streams where territorial rights allowed them; it was never a guaranteed worldwide archive.

Free official options by country
The EBU and UCI distributed the road championships through different national services. Check the exact race—time trial, junior, under-23, women’s elite or men’s elite—rather than assuming one platform carried the entire program.

How to watch complete replays in the United States and Canada
FloBikes is the verified full-race service
FloBikes held the U.S. and Canadian streaming rights. Its 2025 event page lists on-demand videos for the elite men’s and women’s road races, junior races and under-23 races, along with live-event recordings. The page says archived footage is available to subscribers for the duration of their subscription, so a listing is not a promise of permanent access or availability in every location.
- Open the FloBikes 2025 championships event page.
- Select the race or replay you want.
- If it is locked, open the official signup page and confirm that your location is eligible before paying.
- Sign in and play the recording on the web, mobile app or a supported connected-TV device such as Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast or Apple TV.
FloBikes displayed $29.99 per month or $10.62 per month billed annually (about $127.44 for a year) when checked on August 18, 2026. Prices and promotions can change by date, location and signup page. The service displays an availability message when a stream or replay is blocked in your area.

Finding free highlights now
Short official videos are a better free prospect than several-hour race replays. The FloBikes event archive has listed highlights including “Why Kigali Worlds Will Be Remembered Forever,” “Moment Pogačar Took Over World Champs 2025” and elite-race recaps. Availability can change, so use the event page rather than copies uploaded by unknown accounts.
Also search the official UCI YouTube channel and the broadcaster’s own archive for the specific race. A highlight may remain free after a full replay has been removed.
What the UCI YouTube channel can and cannot provide
The UCI used YouTube for selected 2025 coverage, including at least some junior-race programming. One official example is this UCI live video. Streams can be blocked where a local broadcaster owns exclusive rights, and videos may later be removed or made private. The UCI itself explains the territorial nature of its YouTube distribution in its where-to-watch guidance. Search the verified UCI account and confirm the race title before watching.
Should you use a VPN?
A VPN can change the apparent country of your connection, but it does not guarantee playback. A broadcaster may also require local registration, a television licence, a domestic payment method or extra location checks. Circumventing territorial restrictions can breach the broadcaster’s terms. For a reliable and compliant result, use the service assigned to the country where you are actually located; do not treat a VPN as a guaranteed free-stream solution.

Which races might you find?
Coverage was not identical across disciplines. Search separately for:
- Elite men’s and women’s road races
- Elite individual time trials
- Under-23 races
- Junior races
A service that carried the men’s road race may not have carried a time trial or junior event, and a replay can disappear independently of the others.
Troubleshooting expired or blocked videos
The page says the video is unavailable in my country
That is a rights restriction, not necessarily a technical fault. Check your actual-country broadcaster or the UCI channel for a permitted alternative.
The article says “watch live,” but there is no live player
Check the publication date. Pages written before September 28, 2025 may describe a past broadcast in present tense.

The replay requires a login or payment
That usually means the archive is subscriber-only. Decide whether the complete race justifies FloBikes’ current price, or look for an official highlight instead.
A site offers a free pop-up stream
Do not enter payment details or install a player. Unofficial sites can carry malware, deceptive buttons and copyright-infringing footage. Use the broadcaster, FloBikes or the verified UCI account.
