The Thanksgiving dog show is The National Dog Show Presented by Purina. The 2025 broadcast aired on Thursday, November 27, 2025, from noon to 2 p.m. local time on NBC, immediately after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was also streamed through Peacock and NBC’s authenticated digital platforms.
If you are looking for a free option, an antenna may let you receive your local NBC station without a monthly pay-TV subscription. That is free over-the-air television—not a universally free internet stream. For online replay viewing, check the current Peacock listing first; availability, account requirements, and catalog access can change.
Where to watch the 2025 National Dog Show
The 2025 edition is now a completed broadcast rather than a live upcoming event. Use past-tense listings and verify that any replay is still available before signing up for a service.
1. Peacock: the main official online replay option
Peacock’s official program listing identifies the 2025 National Dog Show Presented by Purina and provides the online viewing destination for the program. NBC Sports also identified Peacock as a streaming home for the event and reported that the program would remain available after the Thanksgiving broadcast.

For viewers who missed the NBC airing, the most direct route is to watch the 2025 National Dog Show on Peacock. Open the current program listing, sign in or create an account if prompted, and check the page for the plan and playback requirements shown in your location.
Important: Do not assume that the 2025 replay is permanently available, included in every Peacock plan, or accessible through a current free tier or free trial. Streaming catalogs and plan rules can change. The listing at the time you check it is the reliable source for current access.
2. NBC and your local broadcast station
The live television broadcast aired on NBC on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. It followed the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This was the simplest no-additional-cost option for anyone who already received NBC through an antenna, cable package, satellite service, or a live-TV streaming provider. It was a live broadcast, however, and should not be confused with an on-demand online stream that remains available indefinitely.
3. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app
NBC Sports listed NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app among the digital destinations for the 2025 event. The app supports phones and many connected devices, including Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
NBC’s help documentation makes an important distinction: live streams generally require authentication with a participating cable, satellite, or digital-TV provider. In other words, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app are official streaming options, but they are not guaranteed free streams for every viewer.

How to watch it free without an online subscription
Use an antenna for local NBC television
The strongest legitimate free-viewing option for the live broadcast was over-the-air television. With a digital television and a suitable antenna, you may be able to receive your local NBC affiliate without paying for cable, satellite, or a streaming subscription. The FCC describes this as a way to receive local broadcast stations without a pay-TV subscription.
Recommended Free Tools
Reception is not guaranteed. It depends on your address, distance from the transmitter, terrain, building materials, antenna placement, and the NBC station serving your area. Check reception for your location before buying equipment. An indoor TV antenna may be practical for viewers near a strong local signal, while homes farther away or obstructed by terrain may need a different antenna setup.
Remember: an antenna is not an internet stream. It receives the local NBC broadcast over the air. It also does not provide the 2025 replay after the broadcast unless you separately recorded it.
What if you missed the broadcast?
Check Peacock first for an official on-demand listing. If the full program is no longer in the catalog, NBC Sports published official videos from the event, including the Best in Show judging and individual group segments.
The available official clips included judging or winner coverage for the Hound, Toy, Terrier, Sporting, Herding, Non-Sporting, and Working groups. These are useful ways to watch parts of the competition, but they should not be described as proof of a complete free YouTube or NBC Sports archive of the entire two-hour broadcast.

Avoid unofficial “free stream” websites
Search results may advertise unauthorized mirrors, social-media restreams, torrent downloads, or websites promising a free NBC stream without a provider login. These sources are not official viewing options and can expose viewers to misleading download prompts, aggressive advertising, malware, or copyright-infringing copies.
Use NBC, NBC Sports, Peacock, or your local broadcast station instead. Also be cautious with old articles that promise a Peacock free trial: a promotion mentioned in an earlier guide may no longer exist or may have different terms.

- Confirm that you mean The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, not Westminster or the AKC National Championship.
- For the full online program, search the current Peacock listing for the 2025 event.
- If Peacock does not show the program, check NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app for an authorized replay or official segments.
- For a future live NBC broadcast, check whether an antenna can receive your local NBC affiliate.
- Do not rely on an outdated free-trial claim or an unofficial mirror stream.
