The Paris 2024 Olympic women’s football final between Brazil and the United States was played on August 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. ET. The U.S. live-TV channel was USA Network, while Peacock and authenticated NBC digital platforms carried streaming coverage. Telemundo was the Spanish-language option. The match is now over, so current viewing is generally limited to official highlights or any replay that a rights holder still makes available.
The Brazil–United States women’s football final at the Paris 2024 Olympics was played on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. In the United States, the live broadcast was scheduled for USA Network, with streaming through Peacock and authenticated NBC digital platforms including NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC app, and the NBC Olympics app.
How the USA–Brazil Olympic football final was available in the U.S.
| Option | Language | Access | What it meant |
|---|---|---|---|
| USA Network | English | Television provider | The scheduled live TV channel for the final; not a universally free over-the-air broadcast. |
| Peacock | English | Subscription | NBC’s principal streaming home for the Paris 2024 Olympics, including the complete Olympic schedule during the Games. |
| NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, NBC app, NBC Olympics app | English | Authenticated TV subscription | NBC’s digital platforms allowed eligible users to stream Olympic coverage after signing in through a participating cable or television provider. |
| Telemundo | Spanish | Television provider and applicable digital services | Spanish-language coverage of the Olympic football finals, including Brazil versus the United States. Local channel availability varied by market. |
Was there a free live stream?
Not in the unrestricted sense often implied by the phrase “free live stream.” NBC’s event guidance stated that Peacock viewers needed a subscription. The NBC websites and apps offered another official route, but viewers generally had to authenticate with a participating cable or television subscription.
So the accurate answer is:
- Peacock: official streaming access, but subscription-based according to NBC’s event instructions.
- NBC digital platforms: official streaming access for viewers who could authenticate with an eligible TV provider.
- USA Network: live television access through a provider carrying the channel.
- Telemundo: the principal Spanish-language option, subject to local listings and provider availability.
There is no basis for promising a completely free, legal, no-login full-match stream. A promotional offer, bundle, or provider package could have changed an individual viewer’s cost, but that would need to be verified separately rather than assumed.

How to watch the match now
Because the final took place on August 10, 2024, viewers cannot watch it as a live event. Official Olympic and NBC pages continue to provide post-match coverage, including short highlights and match-related videos. The official Olympics YouTube channel also published a highlights video.
Those clips are legitimate free viewing options, but they should not be confused with a complete replay. The available research does not establish that Peacock’s 2024 Olympic replay catalogue, or a full-length replay of this particular final, remains accessible in 2026. Availability can depend on the rights window, territory, account type, and the platform’s current archive.

That historical description explains why Peacock was the most complete official U.S. streaming option for the tournament. It does not, however, prove that the same replay library remains intact now that the event has ended. Rights and archive policies can change after an Olympics.
What to avoid
- Do not treat an unofficial streaming website as a reliable or authorized source.
- Do not assume that a VPN creates permission to bypass geographic or broadcast rights.
- Do not call a six-minute news video or a highlights package a full-match replay.
- Do not describe Peacock as free unless a currently verified promotion or bundle specifically provides access without an additional subscription charge.
- Do not assume that every U.S. viewer received Telemundo or USA Network through the same provider or local channel.
For future Olympic football tournaments
The safest way to find a legal stream is to identify the official broadcaster for your country before the event begins. Then check four details: whether the service requires a subscription, whether a television-provider login is accepted, whether the match is live or on-demand, and how long replays remain available. Olympic rights differ by country and by Games, so the platforms used for Paris 2024 should not automatically be presented as the broadcasters for a future tournament.
