The 2024 Davis Cup Finals group stage ran from September 10–15, 2024, in Bologna, Valencia, Zhuhai and Manchester. It is over, but this archive guide records the original schedule and the country-specific ways viewers could follow it: CBC carried Team Canada’s ties in Canada, BBC platforms covered Great Britain’s ties in the UK, and Movistar Plus+ held Spanish rights. There was no single confirmed global stream.
What the 2024 Davis Cup group stage was
The group stage was the opening round of the Davis Cup Finals, not the November knockout tournament. Sixteen national teams played in four round-robin groups of four across four host cities. The top two teams in each group advanced to the Final 8 in Málaga, held November 19–24, 2024. The official schedule announcement lists the venues and tie dates.

Where viewers could watch
Broadcast rights differed by country and sometimes covered a team’s ties rather than every match at every venue. These are the confirmed routes in the available 2024 announcements; the event has concluded, so they are not current live-stream offers.
United States
The available official 2024 sources do not conclusively identify a U.S. broadcaster for the entire group stage. Do not assume Tennis Channel, ESPN+, Tennis TV or DavisCup.com carried every tie live. The official 2024 draws and results page is the reliable archive for scores and results; video availability depended on territory and rights.

United Kingdom
Great Britain’s ties were available on BBC Red Button, BBC Sport’s website and BBC iPlayer. The LTA also listed Tennis Channel FAST channels for those matches. This confirms coverage of Great Britain’s ties, not necessarily every tie played in Bologna, Valencia and Zhuhai. See the LTA’s 2024 viewing guide and the BBC Sport guide.
Canada
Team Canada’s three group-stage ties—against Argentina on September 10, Finland on September 12 and Great Britain on September 15—were streamed free in Canada through CBC Gem, cbcsports.ca, the CBC Sports app and CBC Sports’ official YouTube channel, according to Tennis Canada’s announcement. That announcement confirms Canada’s campaign, not complete coverage of every group.
Spain
Movistar Plus+ held exclusive Spanish rights to the group-stage Finals. This was a Spain-market arrangement, not a worldwide stream; see the Movistar Plus+ announcement.
Australia and other territories
The confirmed announcements above do not establish a broadcaster for Australia or every other market. Rights were territory-specific. For another country, check the national tennis federation, the local sports broadcaster’s Davis Cup listings, or the official Davis Cup Where to Watch page. That page is a current hub, not proof of what was available in 2024. BBC iPlayer, CBC services and other platforms may also restrict viewing by location.

How ties worked, and who was expected to play
A tie is the national-team matchup, such as Canada versus Argentina; it is not one individual match. Ties comprise singles and doubles matches, played as best-of-three tiebreak sets. The order and duration of matches can affect when a later singles or doubles match begins.
Among the players named in nominations for the group stage were Jannik Sinner for Italy, Carlos Alcaraz for Spain, Alex de Minaur for Australia, Félix Auger-Aliassime for Canada, Ugo Humbert for France, Sebastián Báez for Argentina, Jack Draper for Great Britain, Sebastian Korda for the United States and Jiří Lehečka for Czechia. Nominations are not a guarantee that a player appeared in every tie. The Davis Cup nominations announcement gives the original context.
