The 2024 HSBC BWF World Tour Finals are no longer live. The tournament was played in Hangzhou, China, from December 11–15, 2024. For catch-up viewing, search the verified BWF TV YouTube channel for “HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024.” Official uploads include several finals matches, although availability can vary by country because of broadcast rights and geo-blocking.
Where to watch the 2024 BWF World Tour Finals online
The most useful free replay route is BWF TV’s official YouTube channel. Verified archive uploads include the men’s singles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles and men’s doubles finals. Search YouTube for “HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024” and check that the video is published by the official BWF TV channel.
Do not confuse the historical tournament stream with a current live broadcast. The Finals ended on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The official videos are replays, and not every upload is guaranteed to remain available in every territory.
Free viewing during the original tournament
During the 2024 event, contemporaneous viewing guides reported that BWF TV’s YouTube coverage was free in the United States, Canada and Australia. In other countries, rights were assigned to local or regional broadcasters. Availability was therefore territory-specific rather than universal.

| Location | Reported 2024 viewing route | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| United States | BWF TV on YouTube | Reported as free during the tournament; archived availability may change. |
| Canada | BWF TV on YouTube | Reported as free during the tournament; videos may still be geo-blocked or removed. |
| Australia | BWF TV on YouTube | Reported as free during the tournament; check the current video listing. |
| United Kingdom | TNT Sports | Rights were territory-specific and may not apply to the archive. |
| Singapore and several Southeast Asian markets | SPOTV | Exact availability depended on country and subscription arrangements. |
| China | CCTV5 and Youku | Local rights applied; availability can differ from BWF TV’s YouTube uploads. |
| Denmark | TV2 | Check the broadcaster’s current archive and rights position. |
| India | Sport18/Voot Select | Historical listings do not guarantee current replay access. |
BWF TV explains in its video descriptions that geo-blocking can occur when rights have been sold to a broadcaster in a viewer’s country. That is why an official BWF video may play in one country but be unavailable in another. Use licensed broadcaster platforms or official tournament pages instead of unofficial restreams.
How to find an official replay
- Open YouTube and search for HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024.
- Filter or verify the results by checking that the uploader is BWF TV, the Badminton World Federation’s official video channel.
- Match the title and finalists against the results below before pressing play.
- If a video is unavailable, check the licensed broadcaster for your country. Do not assume that a different upload or an unofficial mirror has permission to show the match.
Watch the replays on a television
If your television does not have a built-in YouTube app, a Fire TV Stick for watching YouTube on TV can add YouTube playback to a compatible television through its HDMI connection. It is only a viewing accessory: it does not provide BWF rights, remove geo-blocking or guarantee that a particular replay will be available.

The December 15 order of play began with women’s singles, followed by mixed doubles, women’s doubles, men’s doubles and men’s singles. Match times should be checked against the official order of play rather than inferred from a blanket daily start time. Because the matches were played in China, U.S. viewers generally saw the opening sessions on the preceding evening. Contemporary guides gave approximate U.S. viewing times of around 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time or 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time for the relevant viewing window, not a fixed start time for every match.

What viewers should know about geo-blocking
Geo-blocking is a rights restriction, not necessarily a technical fault with YouTube. When a broadcaster has exclusive rights in a territory, BWF TV may restrict the corresponding upload there. The lawful solution is to use the broadcaster licensed for your location and follow its subscription and viewing terms.

A VPN should not be presented as a guaranteed way to watch the tournament. Circumventing geographic restrictions may breach a service’s terms and may conflict with local law. This guide does not recommend unofficial streams or rights circumvention.
