But the game is no longer live, and Tubi said its Super Bowl stream was live-only rather than a full-game replay. As of August 11, 2026, viewers looking for the complete game should check an authorized NFL replay service such as NFL+ Premium, while verifying that Super Bowl LIX is still in its current catalog before subscribing.
The date correction: Super Bowl 2025 is not streaming live today
Super Bowl LIX was played on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40–22. Because the game has already ended, there is no live Super Bowl 2025 stream to watch today. The original “today” wording is now outdated. The NFL’s report confirms the final result.
Was Tubi a legitimate way to watch Super Bowl LIX?
Yes. Tubi is a legitimate, FOX-owned, ad-supported streaming service—not an unauthorized sports-streaming website. For Super Bowl LIX, Tubi carried a simulcast of FOX’s official broadcast in the United States using FOX’s live-sports player. Tubi later reported 15.5 million peak concurrent streaming viewers for the event.
That made Tubi different from the pop-up-heavy “free stream” sites that often appear in search results. Viewers did not need to locate a mirror, install an unknown video player, or use a questionable VPN. They could watch through Tubi’s official website or a supported Tubi app.

“Free” did not mean ad-free or anonymous. Tubi’s normal service is supported by advertising, and the Super Bowl stream required viewers to create a free Tubi account. Tubi said a paid subscription and credit-card information were not required. Its service information describes the platform as free and legal, while its help material explains the absence of subscription fees and credit-card requirements.
How the free Tubi stream worked on game day
For viewers in the United States on February 9, 2025, the basic setup was:
- A free Tubi account.
- An internet-connected computer, phone, tablet, smart TV, or supported streaming device.
- The Tubi website or an up-to-date Tubi app.
- A willingness to watch advertising during the broadcast.
Tubi’s listed platforms included Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple devices, Android devices, Xbox, Samsung TVs, LG TVs, Vizio, Google TV, and Comcast devices, subject to the relevant app and device requirements. A viewer did not need to buy new hardware if they already had a compatible smart TV, phone, computer, or streaming box.
Tubi advertised 4K streaming on supported devices. That did not mean every television, internet connection, or streaming device would automatically receive 4K. Resolution depended on the supported app, device, display, connection, and the stream provided by the service.
The schedule: programming began before kickoff
Tubi’s Super Bowl schedule was listed in Eastern Time as follows:
| Time | Programming |
|---|---|
| 11:00 a.m. ET | FOX pregame coverage |
| 3:30 p.m. ET | Tubi Red Carpet show |
| 6:00 p.m. ET | Super Bowl stream/programming block |
| 6:30 p.m. ET | Game kickoff, according to the NFL viewing guide |
The distinction matters: Tubi’s 6:00 p.m. listing referred to the start of its Super Bowl stream or broadcast block, while the actual game kickoff was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET. Tubi’s live game coverage was in English. Spanish-language viewers were directed to FOX Deportes or Telemundo.
For the original event, Tubi’s official Super Bowl instructions provided the device, schedule, and account details.
Can you watch the full 2025 Super Bowl on Tubi now?
No—not according to Tubi’s event information. Tubi’s Super Bowl page now says the event has ended. The contemporaneous help page stated that the game would be available live only and would not be available for replay after the live stream ended.

The Tubi Red Carpet program was later made available on demand in the United States, but that is not the complete Super Bowl broadcast. Finding a Tubi page or search result related to Super Bowl LIX therefore does not mean that the full game is available to watch there.
You can check Tubi’s current event page for any remaining official material, but do not rely on it as a promise of a full-game replay: Tubi Super Bowl page.
Where to look for a legal replay of Super Bowl LIX
The strongest official lead is NFL+ Premium. The NFL describes the Premium tier as offering full-game, condensed-game, and All-22 replays, and the NFL’s Super Bowl LIX recap linked readers to a replay on NFL+ Premium.
Availability can change by date, country, subscription tier, and licensing terms. Do not assume that the game remains in the catalog simply because NFL+ Premium offers replays generally. Before paying, open the current NFL+ listing and confirm that Super Bowl LIX or the Eagles–Chiefs game is specifically available in your region.

What you need to watch Tubi on a television
Tubi did not require special viewing hardware for the Super Bowl. A supported smart TV, computer, mobile device, or existing streaming player was enough. If your television lacks the Tubi app, an optional Tubi-compatible streaming device—such as a Roku streaming stick or another supported connected-TV device—can provide a way to access the service. Buying one does not restore access to the ended Super Bowl LIX live stream or guarantee that a replay is available.
If you connect a streaming player to an older television, you may also need an HDMI cable compatible with the device and television. The cable is an accessory, not a Tubi requirement, and a more expensive cable cannot guarantee 4K resolution, a faster connection, or a stable stream.
Could an antenna provide a free alternative?
An indoor TV antenna is relevant only when a live FOX broadcast is available in your area. It receives local over-the-air television; it does not receive Tubi’s internet stream and cannot provide the ended 2025 game on demand.

Reception depends on your location, distance from the transmitting station, building materials, antenna placement, and local FOX availability. An antenna can therefore be a useful alternative for a future live FOX telecast, but it is not a replacement for Tubi and is not a guaranteed way to watch Super Bowl LIX now.

Because the event has ended, search results promising a “live” Super Bowl 2025 stream today deserve particular caution. Common warning signs include:
- Multiple play buttons that open new tabs or redirect repeatedly.
- Requests to install an unfamiliar player, browser extension, or executable file.
- Requests for credit-card details for a supposedly free broadcast.
- Pop-ups claiming that your device is infected or that you must update software immediately.
- Instructions to disable browser security tools or sideload an unknown app.
- A stream that does not identify an authorized broadcaster or official service.
Do not install unknown software merely to watch a sports replay. Use the broadcaster or league service directly, check the official catalog before subscribing, and treat “free” offers that demand payment details or unusual downloads as a security risk.

Bottom line for Super Bowl 2025 and Tubi
Tubi was legitimate: in the U.S., it offered FOX’s Super Bowl LIX broadcast live and free with advertising on February 9, 2025. A free account was required, but no paid Tubi subscription or credit card was needed. The live event has ended, and Tubi did not promise a full-game replay.
For the complete game now, check NFL+ Premium or another currently authorized NFL archive and verify availability in your location before subscribing. A Roku device, HDMI cable, or antenna may help with future viewing setups, but none of them creates access to a past Tubi live stream.
