For the simplest first watch, start with Reacher Season 1 and continue through Seasons 2, 3 and 4. The Tom Cruise films are a separate pair: watch Jack Reacher (2012) before Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016). There is no established crossover order that requires you to interleave the films with the series.
What order should I watch the Reacher show and movies in?
If you want the series, watch its seasons in order:

- Reacher Season 1
- Reacher Season 2
- Reacher Season 3
- Reacher Season 4
Paramount Global Content lists the first three seasons and gives Season 4’s premiere date as August 12, 2026. Paramount’s official series page is the current reference for the season lineup.
What order should I watch the Jack Reacher movies?
- Jack Reacher (2012)
- Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016)
Paramount Pictures identifies Jack Reacher as a 2012 film, while its page for Never Go Back identifies the 2016 film as a sequel. That makes the release-year order the straightforward order for the two movies.

How do I watch every screen adaptation?
If you want all six entries, watch the films as a pair first, then watch the four series seasons in order:
- Jack Reacher (2012)
- Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016)
- Reacher Season 1
- Reacher Season 2
- Reacher Season 3
- Reacher Season 4
This is a practical release-order route grouped by adaptation: the movies together, followed by the series in season order. The official sources establish those film years and the series season numbering, but do not establish a shared on-screen chronology or a need to alternate between the films and seasons.

Where can I watch Reacher?
The series is associated with Prime Video; its official listings include Season 1 and a series page with a season selector. Whether a particular season or film is included with a subscription, or is available to rent or buy, depends on the local catalog and can change. Check the listings in your country rather than assuming all six entries are available through one service.
Do I need to read the books first?
No. The books are not a prerequisite for watching. Prime Video describes Season 1 as based on Lee Child’s novel The Killing Floor; the novel is an optional companion if you want to read the source story alongside the season. Prime Video’s Season 1 listing gives that connection and lists eight episodes.

Is there more Reacher after Season 4?
As of October 8, 2026, Season 4 had premiered, and Paramount Press Express had announced a renewal for Season 6 on September 28, 2026. The renewal confirms another season is planned, not its release date. In the same announcement, Paramount described the franchise as having more than 200 million worldwide viewers to date; that is the studio’s audience figure, not an independently audited count or a per-season total. Read the announcement from Paramount Press Express.
