The old CTV route for Love Island USA no longer opens the show. CTV’s homepage and its previously indexed Love Island URLs now redirect to Crave’s CTV landing page. Because that live destination does not currently show a Love Island USA episode page, playback control, or free-access statement, the claim that the series is free on CTV cannot be verified.
Short answer: You cannot currently use the old CTV links to open Love Island USA directly. As of the latest check, CTV’s former Love Island USA page, the previously indexed Love Island audience page, and the CTV homepage all redirect to Crave’s CTV landing page.
The destination is still branded CTV within Crave, but it does not currently expose a verifiable Love Island USA show page, episode list, playback button, price statement, or free-access eligibility statement. In other words, the claim that the show is “free on CTV” is not confirmed by the live pages available now.
What happens when you open the old CTV links?
| Link | Current result |
|---|---|
| ctv.ca | Redirects to the CTV destination on Crave |
| CTV Love Island audience page | Redirects to the same Crave CTV landing page |
| CTV Love Island USA page | Redirects to the same Crave CTV landing page, rather than opening the show |
That means a link may appear to be a Love Island USA streaming link in search results or an older article, but it no longer takes you to an episode player. It is not a browser problem and does not necessarily mean that your account is missing a setting; the destination itself has changed.

How to check CTV’s current availability
- Open Crave’s CTV landing page directly, rather than relying on an old Love Island URL.
- Search the page or the current CTV/Crave catalogue for Love Island USA.
- Look for a current show page, episode listing, and playback control. The available destination did not expose those Love Island-specific elements during the latest check.
- Before creating an account or subscribing, read the access information shown for the specific episode. The currently accessible page does not verify that the episodes are free, that all episodes are available, or that access is unrestricted in Canada.
If the title does not appear in the current catalogue, there is no reliable CTV playback route that can be supplied from the old URLs. Do not assume that a redirect to the CTV landing page means the show is available there.
Is Love Island USA free on CTV?
That is not currently verifiable from CTV’s live destination. The accessible CTV page does not provide a price, free-viewing statement, or eligibility details for Love Island USA. Availability and access can also vary by country, subscription status, episode, and the date you check.

- Compact without compromises: Our sleek design won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, so you can switch from streaming to gaming with ease. Plus, it’s designed to stay hidden behind your TV, keeping wires neatly out of sight
For that reason, this guide does not promise that the series is free. If a current episode page displays a free-play option, follow the conditions shown there. If it asks for a Crave subscription or sign-in, the episode is not confirmed as freely playable for your account. Avoid treating an old article’s “free on CTV” wording as current evidence.
Do not confuse CTV with CTV More
CTV More is a separate CTV site. Its visible sections are Shows, Recipes, Tickets, and Podcasts. It is not the destination to which the old Love Island USA CTV URLs currently redirect, so opening CTV More will not, by itself, prove that the programme is available there or provide a Love Island USA player.

Why older instructions no longer work
Older guides may tell you to visit ctv.ca/Love-Island/Audience, open ctv.ca/shows/love-island-usa, and select a watch button. Those instructions depend on a show-level CTV page that is no longer publicly exposed at those addresses. Both URLs now redirect before presenting episode cards or playback controls. Exact labels such as Watch, Play, or Sign In therefore cannot be confirmed for this title on the current destination.
The practical rule is simple: use the current CTV/Crave catalogue as the source of truth, not the URL path or a cached search result. A redirect confirms where CTV sends the request; it does not confirm that Love Island USA is currently streamable or free.

Quick troubleshooting
- The old page opens Crave: this is the expected current redirect, not a direct episode link.
- You cannot find the show: check the current catalogue and your regional availability; the supplied live pages do not expose a confirmed show-level route.
- You see a sign-in or subscription prompt: review the displayed terms for your account instead of assuming free access.
- You found a “free” claim in an older guide: treat it as outdated unless a current episode page independently confirms the offer.
- You opened CTV More: return to the CTV destination on Crave. CTV More is a separate site.
Bottom line
There is no currently verifiable direct CTV link for watching Love Island USA. The former CTV pages now redirect to Crave’s CTV landing page, and the available page does not confirm a Love Island USA player or free access. Check the live CTV/Crave catalogue before relying on any streaming or pricing claim.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still watch Love Island USA directly from the old CTV link?
No. The former CTV Love Island USA URL currently redirects to Crave’s CTV landing page instead of opening a show page or episode player.

Is Love Island USA free on CTV?
Free access is not confirmed by the current CTV pages. Check the episode’s live access terms in the CTV/Crave catalogue before assuming it is free.
Is CTV More the same as the CTV streaming page?
No. CTV More is a separate site with Shows, Recipes, Tickets, and Podcasts. It is not the CTV/Crave destination used by the old Love Island URLs.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: The old CTV Love Island USA links now redirect to Crave’s CTV landing page. A current show page, playback route, and free-access offer could not be verified, so do not promise that Love Island USA is free on CTV.
