Only selected Lakers games—not the entire schedule—received Apple Immersive production for Apple Vision Pro. The NBA and Spectrum SportsNet apps carry the experience, which combines 180-degree video, court-level viewpoints, Spatial Audio and 3D graphics. The six announced 2025–26 live dates have passed; viewers should now look primarily for replays and highlights unless a new schedule is announced.
You need an Apple Vision Pro running visionOS 26 or later. Your location and account determine whether a title is live, replay-only or unavailable.
What Apple Immersive Lakers coverage includes
This is a separate production from the normal NBA broadcast. Apple Immersive games use 180-degree spatial video from several fixed positions, including court level, with Spatial Audio. The presentation can place you near introductions, huddles, timeouts, halftime activities and arena entertainment, while 3D overlays show information such as the scoreboard and player details. Apple describes the production and partnership in its original announcement and its January 2026 update.

Check your eligibility before installing anything

Apple identifies the Lakers regional broadcast territory as Southern California, Hawaii and parts of southern Nevada, including Las Vegas. Regional and national rights can change what appears in the apps.
What you need
- Apple Vision Pro.
- visionOS 26 or later.
- The official NBA app and/or Spectrum SportsNet app for Vision Pro.
- A free NBA ID for eligible NBA-app immersive content.
- Eligible Spectrum credentials when using Spectrum SportsNet.
- An internet connection capable of sustained high-quality video; Apple does not publish a minimum bandwidth figure for this service in the cited material.
Watch through the NBA app
- On Vision Pro, open Settings → General → Software Update and install visionOS 26 or later.
- Open the App Store and install the official NBA app.
- Sign in with an NBA ID or create a free one.
- Open the Lakers team page or browse the app’s immersive NBA section.
- Select a game identified as available in Apple Immersive.
- Choose live viewing when an eligible live window exists, or select the replay or highlight after publication.
- Put on Vision Pro and choose the immersive presentation when the app offers the option.
Menu names can move as the app is updated. An eligible title should open as a spatial, multi-angle production rather than a flat broadcast. Outside the Lakers territory, Apple says full-game replays may appear as early as 24 hours after the game; earlier guidance described a broader one-to-three-day window, so posting is not guaranteed to the minute.

Watch through Spectrum SportsNet
- Update Vision Pro to visionOS 26 or later.
- Install the official Spectrum SportsNet Vision Pro app.
- Open the app and sign in with eligible Spectrum or participating-provider credentials.
- Choose an available Lakers immersive game, replay or highlight.
- Select the Apple Immersive or Front Row presentation when it appears.
Apple describes authentication for Spectrum Internet customers and video subscribers whose package includes Spectrum SportsNet in the Lakers territory. The app listing says Spectrum TV and Internet subscribers can receive full-game immersive replays and highlights nationwide, while live access remains tied to territory and rights.
Which Lakers games were announced?
Apple’s App Store listing identifies these six 2025–26 immersive games. This is a historical announced list, not a promise of an ongoing or 2026–27 schedule.

Because those live dates are past, search the NBA and Spectrum SportsNet apps for the replay or highlight version. Whether a replay remains visible depends on market, rights and the app’s current catalog.
Is NBA League Pass required?

League Pass is the normal entitlement for live and on-demand NBA broadcasts in the NBA app where applicable. Apple’s January announcement says selected immersive Lakers games could be accessed through the NBA app with a free NBA ID, so do not buy League Pass solely on the assumption that it unlocks every immersive title. It also does not make every Lakers game immersive.

Choosing between the services
NBA app
Choose it first if you want the broadest route to immersive replays, live access in a supported market, or standard NBA features such as Multiview and stats. A free NBA ID does not include every ordinary broadcast.
Spectrum SportsNet
Use it if you already have eligible Spectrum Internet or TV access, especially inside the Lakers territory, or want Spectrum’s Lakers programming alongside available immersive titles.

Spectrum SportsNet+
For viewers in the Lakers home television territory without a cable or satellite subscription, the NBA Lakers streaming page currently displays Spectrum SportsNet+ at $19.99 per month or $199.99 per season. Prices and eligibility can change, and the cited information does not establish that SportsNet+ alone guarantees every immersive feature or game: check the official page.
NBA League Pass
League Pass suits out-of-market fans who want hundreds of ordinary live and on-demand games. It remains subject to local restrictions and is not a substitute for the limited Apple Immersive production.
Conventional Spectrum television
A Spectrum TV package can show a normal Lakers broadcast on a virtual giant screen. It is not the immersive feed. Promotional Spectrum package prices are location-dependent and may change after the introductory period; see Spectrum’s current sports-package page rather than buying a full package just for six immersive games.
Why the immersive option is missing
Software or app problem
- Confirm visionOS 26 or later in Settings → General → Software Update.
- Update both apps, then sign out and back in.
- Restart the app and Vision Pro.
Wrong game or timing
- Compare the date with the six announced games above; ordinary Lakers games do not gain an immersive option.
- Allow time for the replay to post. “As early as 24 hours” is not a fixed delivery guarantee.
- Check both NBA and Spectrum SportsNet because libraries and rights differ.
Location, blackout or entitlement restriction
- Outside the Lakers territory, expect replay access rather than general live access.
- National or regional restrictions can block a live window.
- League Pass access to a normal broadcast does not prove that the separate immersive production is available.
- For Spectrum, verify that your plan includes Spectrum SportsNet and that you are using the correct provider login. SportsNet+ credentials and television-provider authentication are not interchangeable in every situation.
Do not use a VPN to work around a blackout; it can violate service terms and cannot guarantee that the title will appear.

- NBA League Pass in the NBA app: ordinary out-of-market live games, replays, stats and Multiview where rights permit.
- Spectrum SportsNet or SportsNet+: local Lakers coverage for eligible territory and accounts.
- Spectrum TV app: a conventional television feed on a large virtual display.
- Another authorized TV provider: a package carrying Spectrum SportsNet may provide the required authentication.
The Bottom Line
Install the NBA app first, update Vision Pro to visionOS 26 or later, and sign in with a free NBA ID. Use Spectrum SportsNet if you have qualifying local or Spectrum access. Expect Apple Immersive only for selected games—the six announced 2025–26 live dates are over, so current viewing is principally replay and highlight access, not every Lakers game and not a guaranteed League Pass benefit.
