It was originally shown in Australia on Channel Seven, 7plus, Kayo Sports and Foxtel; in the UK and Ireland on TNT Sports and discovery+; and in the United States and Canada on Willow. Those rights do not guarantee that a full replay is still available, so check the official service for your country before signing up.
Is the second Ashes Test live now?
No. The five-day Test finished on December 8, 2025. This is an archive-viewing guide, not a live fixture listing. A broadcaster may have removed, relocated or restricted its replay since the original rights period; check its current cricket listings before paying for access.

Australia: 7plus, Kayo Sports or Foxtel
7plus: the free Australian option
Channel Seven’s coverage was also available to stream on 7plus, the free Australian option. It is intended for viewers in Australia; do not assume it will work abroad. Check whether the match or highlights are still listed and whether the current service requires an account. Seven’s coverage was announced in its Ashes coverage announcement.
Kayo Sports and Foxtel: paid coverage
Kayo Sports offered the Fox Cricket coverage as a sports-streaming option, while Foxtel carried the coverage through pay TV. Kayo features such as ad-break-free viewing during play or 4K depend on the current plan, device and feed; they should not be assumed for an archived Test. Check the live service listings before subscribing, especially if you only want this one match. Cricket Australia’s second-Test guide lists the original Australian coverage.

UK and Ireland: TNT Sports and discovery+
TNT Sports held the live rights in the UK and Ireland. Viewers could watch through participating TV providers or stream TNT Sports content via discovery+. Streaming requires the appropriate sports-inclusive plan; do not assume an entertainment-only plan includes TNT Sports. Check the current plan and archive catalogue before purchasing. BBC was not the live video provider for every ball. It offered Test Match Special radio commentary through BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra, plus updates and highlights where available. See the BBC Ashes coverage guide for its coverage details.

United States and Canada: Willow
Willow was the listed broadcaster for the United States and Canada, including the U.S. territories named in Cricket Australia’s guide: Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa. Depending on the market and distribution agreement, Willow access may be direct, through a TV provider or via a streaming bundle. The original rights listing does not establish that a full replay remains available, so search Willow’s current catalogue before choosing a plan. When did play start?
The match was a day-night, pink-ball Test at The Gabba. The scheduled local start was 2:00 p.m. in Brisbane on December 4, 2025. The following are original start-time conversions, not times for a current stream.

Brisbane is on Australian Eastern Standard Time in December; Sydney and Melbourne use daylight time. UK listings also gave 3:40 a.m. in connection with broadcast coverage. That is a coverage-time listing, not the scheduled 2:00 p.m. Brisbane start converted to the UK. How to look for a legitimate replay
- Choose the broadcaster that served your country during the Test; services such as 7plus, discovery+ and Willow are not interchangeable worldwide.
- Open the broadcaster’s official website or app and check the cricket or sport archive. Search “Ashes,” “Australia vs England,” “Second Test” and “The Gabba.”
- Confirm that the listing is a full-match replay rather than highlights, and check the account, subscription or TV-provider requirement before paying.
- If no full-match file appears, try the web version as well as the app, and look for session-by-session replays or an official highlights package.
- If the video archive has expired, use the broadcaster’s audio archive, official scorecard or match coverage instead.
A replay can disappear, move to a sport-specific section or be offered only in the territory covered by the original rights. Do not treat a live-rights announcement as proof of current on-demand access.

Radio, highlights and score updates
For UK listeners, BBC Test Match Special was available through BBC Sounds, BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sport’s website or app; the BBC also offered updates and daily highlights where available. In Australia, Cricket Australia listed ABC, Triple M, SEN and Cricket Radio through the CA Live app as audio-follow options. Current audio archives and highlight packages can also change, so check the relevant official service.
Does a VPN provide access?
A VPN does not guarantee that a broadcaster’s stream will work or that an expired replay will reappear. Geographic access rules, service terms, account verification, payment region and app-store region may still apply. Use the rights holder for your location rather than relying on a VPN or an unauthorized stream.
