WWE’s official gallery, “Stephanie McMahon like you’ve never seen her before: photos,” is a starting point for seeing her in settings beyond a single on-screen role. These ten viewing prompts focus on contrasts to look for across WWE’s photo archive: era, setting and presentation. Check each image’s caption and date before treating the sequence as a chronology, and confirm image-use rights before republication.
How to explore these ten kinds of Stephanie McMahon photos
The prompts below are a guide to a varied gallery, not claims that ten specific images have been verified in a fixed sequence. WWE maintains a broader official photo archive; use its individual captions and metadata to choose and identify images. The archive can be read across three useful contrasts: early career and executive-era images, televised and public-event settings, and character styling versus corporate or candid presentation.
-
An early-career image
Look for an official archive image from her early WWE years. A caption or date is essential before identifying an image as an early-career photograph.
-
An Attitude Era or early on-screen appearance
An image from this period can establish the contrast between an on-screen role and later public-facing work. Let the WWE caption identify the era rather than inferring it from styling alone.

A televised or in-ring presentation
Television and ring-side photographs show a performance setting. Compare the framing, clothing and surroundings with images from events outside the show.
-
A corporate leadership portrait
A formal portrait represents a different public context from an in-character image. Use the source caption to confirm the occasion or purpose if it is specified.
-
A co-CEO-era image
WWE announced Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-CEOs on July 25, 2022. A photograph from that period can be described as a co-CEO-era image only when its date or caption supports that identification.

-
A public appearance with Paul “Triple H” Levesque
If an official archive image shows them together, caption it as a public appearance and retain any occasion details supplied by WWE. Confirm both the identification and reuse rights for the selected file.

A backstage or event candid
A candid frame can convey a less formal public setting than a posed portrait. Avoid calling a photograph candid unless the source or image context supports that description.
-
A recent public portrait or event image
A later official image can give the selection a present-day endpoint, but it should not be called current without a verified date. The archive’s publication date and the photograph’s date may differ.

What the leadership timeline does—and does not—date
WWE’s July 25, 2022 announcement named Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan co-CEOs. On January 10, 2023, WWE announced that McMahon had resigned as chairwoman and co-CEO and that Vince McMahon had become executive chairman. WWE’s SEC annual report records her resignation from the co-CEO role and board on January 10, 2023, after which Nick Khan became sole CEO. These dated announcements provide context for identifying leadership-era photographs; they do not establish when any particular photo was taken.
In its January 10, 2023 announcement, Vince McMahon said, “Stephanie McMahon is a terrific executive and an even better person.” That is his attributed corporate statement in WWE’s release, not a caption or independent assessment of a photograph.
Quick Recap
Choosing and crediting images
- Use WWE’s official archive as the image source and retain each image’s caption or date where available.
- Do not present the ten viewing prompts above as a verified chronological sequence; the individual images need confirmed dates and metadata.
- Credit WWE and verify permission or licensing for every image before publication. An image appearing in an official gallery does not, by itself, establish republication rights.
