The most reliable way to follow Counter-Strike 2 documentaries is a two-part system: use official team archives and tournament-organizer hubs to find legitimate films, then subscribe to the specific verified YouTube channels that publish the teams or competitions you care about. Set the channel bell to All notifications, but keep YouTube’s Subscriptions feed and the publisher’s own archive as your backup because account, device, language and daily-notification limits can prevent an alert from arriving.
What counts as a CS2 documentary series?
“Series” is used loosely in esports. A publisher may release a scheduled multi-episode documentary, a single feature-length film, a behind-the-scenes event retrospective, a team vlog or a run of interviews. Those formats are useful for different reasons, and they do not share the same release pattern.
Episodic documentary
An episodic production has separately published installments and an explicit promise, or at least a clear indication, that more episodes are planned. Follow the publisher’s channel and look for episode numbers, season labels or a playlist maintained by the publisher.
Standalone film
A one-off documentary can be just as valuable as a series but should not be treated as an ongoing schedule. Team Vitality’s official case-study page links to The Streak, a film about its Counter-Strike team. The page confirms the film, not a continuing run of episodes.

Event retrospective or production documentary
Tournament organizers often publish a film about one event. BLAST.tv’s Making it Major is a short documentary about producing the Paris Major, promoted through the organizer’s Watch menu and Content Hub. BLAST’s July 2023 Live to Win article describes it as longer than 30 minutes. Neither page establishes a permanent release cadence.
Team video, vlog or highlights package
These uploads may cover practice, travel, interviews, match reactions or short highlights rather than a narrative documentary. They can appear between major films, so following the correct channel is often the best way to catch them.
Where to look first: official archives and hubs
Start with a source controlled by the team or tournament organizer. An official archive establishes who published the video and often points to the channel that will carry future uploads. Search results and fan reposts can help you discover a title, but they are not a dependable notification system.
| Publisher or destination | Confirmed material | What to verify before following | Best follow-up method |
|---|---|---|---|
| NAVI official video archive | Dated videos and a link to a dedicated NAVI CS2 channel | The archive includes several games, so check each title and channel label for CS2 relevance. | Subscribe to the linked CS2 channel, then use its Subscriptions feed and channel bell. |
| BLAST.tv Watch menu and Content Hub | Making it Major, a documentary about production of the Paris Major | It is an event film; the cited pages do not confirm a recurring series schedule. | Follow the organizer’s official channel or hub where new documentaries are announced. |
| Team Vitality official case-study page | The Streak, a documentary about the Counter-Strike team | The page confirms a film, not future episodes or a current playlist. | Use the team’s verified video channel for later team uploads. |
| BLAST.tv French content hub | A live watch page and a dedicated French YouTube channel for highlights, interviews and related coverage, announced in June 2025 | Regional channels and links can change; confirm the current channel before subscribing. | Follow the language feed you understand, and the main channel if you want broader coverage. |
These are representative starting points, not a complete directory of every CS2 documentary maker. Archive contents and channel links can change, and a film’s availability may vary by country.

- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
- Open the publisher’s official site or verified channel link. For NAVI, begin with the official video archive and use its CS2 channel link. For an organizer or another team, use that organization’s own website or verified social profile rather than an unverified search result.
- Confirm the channel identity. Check the name, logo, description and recent uploads. A channel that mixes multiple games may still be official, but inspect titles before assuming every video concerns CS2.
- Select Subscribe. YouTube places new videos from channels you follow in the Subscriptions feed. This feed is your dependable review point even when an alert is delayed or suppressed.
- Open the bell beside the subscribed channel. Choose All notifications if you want the fullest available alert setting. Subscribing by itself normally leaves you on personalized notifications, which may highlight only some uploads.
- Allow notifications at the account and device level. In YouTube’s notification settings, make sure channel alerts are enabled. On a phone, also check the operating system’s app-notification permission; on a browser, check site-notification permission and any focus or do-not-disturb mode.
- Check the Subscriptions feed after important events. A major final, roster announcement or documentary premiere can generate several posts quickly. Open the feed directly instead of relying only on a banner or sound alert.
- Bookmark the publisher’s archive or Content Hub. Use it to find films that are not easy to locate through a channel’s chronological list and to confirm whether a title is an official production.
“All notifications” is the strongest channel option, not a guarantee. YouTube notes that account settings, device settings and daily limits can prevent some notifications from being delivered. A feed-and-archive check closes that gap.
How to follow the named CS2 examples
NAVI: separate CS2 uploads from other games
NAVI’s official video archive lists dated videos and links to a dedicated NAVI CS2 channel. Because the archive combines material from multiple games, use the title and channel label as a filter. If your goal is only CS2, subscribe to the dedicated channel when available rather than assuming every archive entry is relevant.
After subscribing, select All notifications and periodically open the channel’s Videos tab. This catches a documentary that is uploaded without a numbered episode and lets you distinguish a full film from a short clip or a video about another NAVI roster.

BLAST.tv: find event films through the Watch menu
BLAST.tv directs viewers to its Watch menu and Content Hub for Making it Major, a documentary about the production of the Paris Major. Its July 2023 Live to Win article says the documentary runs for more than 30 minutes and frames it as a behind-the-curtain look at the event.
The same article reported that more than 1.5 million people watched the Paris Major grand final online. That is BLAST.tv’s 2023 report for that final, not a current CS2 audience statistic and not a measurement of documentary viewership.

Alison Severs-Ruiz, BLAST’s Content Director, described the goal this way: “Putting fans at the heart of our events has been a key focus for BLAST since day one and ‘Live to Win’ will give fans an exclusive look behind the curtain at the players’ stories.” Treat that statement as the organizer’s description of the project, not as evidence of a continuing episode schedule.
Team Vitality: treat The Streak as a confirmed film
Team Vitality’s official case-study page links to The Streak, a documentary focused on its Counter-Strike team. The page is a reliable starting point for the film, but it does not establish that the title is an episodic series or that another installment is scheduled.

Follow the team’s current verified video channel if you want future team content. Keep the film’s page bookmarked separately so a later channel redesign does not make the original announcement difficult to find.
BLAST.tv’s French feed: language can split the catalog
In June 2025, BLAST.tv announced a French live watch page and a dedicated French YouTube channel for highlights, interviews and related coverage. This is a useful example of why one organization may operate several feeds. A French-language upload may appear on the regional channel rather than the main international channel.
Subscribe to the language feed that matches your viewing preference, then decide whether the main channel is also worth following. Before subscribing, verify the current link because regional channel arrangements can change.

Build a routine that catches uploads without creating notification overload
Use a small, deliberate channel list
Subscribe to individual channels that actually publish the teams, tournaments or languages you follow. Avoid subscribing to every search result or every channel that posts a single clip; a crowded feed makes a full documentary easier to overlook.
Make one weekly feed check
Choose a regular day to open Subscriptions and scan recent uploads. This takes account of alerts that arrive late, are grouped together or never appear. During a major tournament, add a second check after the final because organizers often publish interviews and retrospectives immediately afterward.
Use playlists and watch history as sorting tools
When a channel mixes documentaries, highlights and other games, save long-form films to a private playlist. Add the publisher’s own playlist only when it is maintained by the official channel; fan-made playlists can disappear or include unofficial copies.
Track the announcement, not an assumed schedule
Do not infer a weekly or monthly release pattern from one or two uploads. Look for explicit wording such as “episode,” “season,” “part two” or an announced premiere date. If the publisher has announced only one film, describe it to yourself as a standalone documentary until another episode is confirmed.

The video is in Subscriptions but no alert appeared
Open the channel’s bell menu and confirm All notifications. Then check YouTube’s account notification settings and your phone or browser permissions. If those are correct, the alert may have been affected by daily limits or another platform-level constraint. The video’s presence in Subscriptions means your follow relationship is working; keep using the feed as the authoritative check.

The channel is not in Subscriptions
You may be signed into a different Google account, have unsubscribed accidentally or followed a similarly named channel. Search from the publisher’s official site again, compare the channel identity and subscribe from that verified route.
The archive lists a film that the channel does not show
Check whether the archive links to a different channel, a regional feed or an embedded player. A channel can also reorganize playlists or remove an older video. Use the archive’s dated entry and the publisher’s own announcement to distinguish a relocation from a new release.
You receive too many alerts
Keep All notifications for channels where missing an upload matters most, and use the Subscriptions feed for lower-priority channels. You can also leave a channel subscribed while changing its bell setting, preserving feed access without a constant stream of alerts.
A documentary is unavailable in your country
Availability can differ by territory and can change after publication. Look for an official alternate channel or regional hub, but do not rely on an unofficial reupload as a permanent substitute. If no official source is available, record the title and check the publisher’s archive again later.
How to tell whether a video is genuinely official
- The team or organizer’s website links directly to the channel, film or Content Hub.
- The channel’s branding, description and links match the organization’s official site.
- The upload title, date and event details agree with the publisher’s announcement.
- The video is hosted by the organization’s own channel rather than a clip account using a similar name.
- Regional or language channels are identified by the organization, as with BLAST.tv’s announced French feed.
These checks matter because documentary titles are easy to copy and fan channels can mix official footage with commentary. An official archive is the strongest way to establish provenance.
