Can you watch Chiefs vs. Chargers free online?

Start by checking the local CBS schedule for your ZIP code or market. Paramount+ is not a nationwide pass to every CBS NFL game; the relevant local CBS affiliate must carry the game in your area. If your local station is showing Chiefs–Chargers, the service can provide the online stream without a traditional cable subscription.

NFL+ is therefore useful if:
- You are watching in the local broadcast market;
- You are comfortable watching on a phone or tablet; and
- You do not need a conventional big-screen livestream.
Do not assume that the live local game can be watched through NFL+ on a desktop browser, television app, or casting setup. NFL+ Premium may offer replays on more devices, but a replay is not a live broadcast.

Out-of-market option: NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV
If you are outside the local Chiefs and Chargers broadcast market, the game may not be available through your local CBS station. For Sunday-afternoon games that are out of market, the NFL identifies NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV as the relevant paid option.
