OneStream’s Help Center says the feature requires an Enterprise plan and allows a scheduled stream of up to 30 days. Before you schedule, confirm your channel is eligible and that your music permissions cover both the livestream and its archive; a license alone may not prevent YouTube from interrupting third-party music.
Before you start: check YouTube eligibility and music rights
Confirm the channel can livestream
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Live streamers must also be at least 16, and live content must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Check the channel’s status before building a schedule: a prepared OneStream broadcast cannot override a YouTube restriction. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance has the platform’s requirements.
Clear the music for live and archived use
Use music you own or have permission to transmit on YouTube Live. For third-party tracks, confirm that the permission covers livestream transmission and any archived video or VOD use. Ask the rights owner or distributor whether they will add your specific YouTube channel to their Content ID allowlist.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects copyrighted material, it may show a warning, replace the stream with a placeholder image, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it. YouTube advises: “If you’ve licensed third-party content to use in your stream, ask the owner of the content to add your channel to their allowlist through Content ID.” Even with a license, allowlisting matters; an archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast ends. Connect your YouTube channel to OneStream Live
- In OneStream Live, open Social Platforms.
- Add or connect YouTube, select the account and channel you intend to use, and choose the channel category.
- Authorize the connection and select Connect. Once connected, the channel can be selected for a prerecorded stream. If the desired channel is not listed, confirm that you authorized the correct account and selected the correct channel. OneStream documents this flow in its YouTube connection guide.
Create and schedule the 24-hour music stream
OneStream’s documented workflow uses a playlist of prepared videos as the content for the continuous broadcast. It accepts content from a device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage. Prepare the files or playlist first, and make sure the material is cleared for the intended YouTube use.
- In the OneStream web app, choose Create → 24-hour Stream.
- Add your prerecorded videos from your device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage. Select the prepared music videos or playlist you want included.
- Select the connected YouTube channel.
- Enter the stream details requested by the app.
- Choose whether the broadcast should start immediately or at a later scheduled time.
- Set the duration in days, then schedule the broadcast.
OneStream’s Help Center states that 24/7 streaming requires an Enterprise plan and that a scheduled 24-hour stream can run for a maximum of 30 days. These are product terms stated in the Help Center article last updated September 3, 2026; check the current account interface and plan details before relying on them. Check the broadcast and its archive
After scheduling, check that the broadcast appears on the intended YouTube channel and monitor YouTube Studio for warnings or enforcement notices while it is live. If you use third-party music, confirm with the rights owner that the channel allowlist is active. After the stream ends, review the archived broadcast for Content ID claims; YouTube says claims may be applied to archived live streams after completion.

Can I use copyrighted music if I have a license?
A license does not guarantee uninterrupted playback. Confirm it covers YouTube livestreams and archives, and ask the rights owner to allowlist your channel through Content ID.
