Your saved titles appear in the Reminders You’ve Set row under My Netflix on supported TV and mobile layouts. When a title is released, it moves to My List; Netflix may also send an in-app notification or email.
Find Netflix’s upcoming titles
Netflix places unreleased programs in several discovery areas, and the label depends on your device and the current interface. Check these locations:
- New & Popular, Latest, or New & Hot shortcuts, where available.
- New on Netflix or Top 10 rows on the homepage.
- Search results for a specific show or movie.
Netflix documents these discovery options in its guide to finding new shows and movies. On updated TVs, the former New & Popular shortcut may no longer appear; use homepage or title-page rows such as New on Netflix and Top 10 instead. On mobile, New & Hot can include Coming Soon, Everyone’s Watching, and Top 10 sections.
Set a reminder for a show or movie
- Open the title’s Netflix details page.
- Look for a future release date and select Remind Me.
- Confirm that the control changes to its selected state or check mark.
The control appears only when Netflix displays a future date and offers the feature for that title. Netflix’s official wording is: “On Netflix you may see future release dates for a TV show or movie with an option to Remind Me.”

View or cancel reminders
On a TV or mobile device
- Open My Netflix.
- Find the Reminders You’ve Set row.
- Select a title to open its details.
- To cancel the reminder, select the check mark (the selected reminder control).
Check from Search
Search for the title again. Its details page can show whether the reminder is already set, letting you select the check mark to stop future reminders.

What happens when the title is released?
After release, the title appears in My List. Netflix says you may also receive a Netflix notification and an email, but a particular alert channel is not guaranteed. Treat My Netflix, the reminder row, and My List as the dependable places to check.
Why a date or reminder can change
Release dates are not permanent. Netflix says dates may change because of video-production delays or because licensing contracts are still being finalized. If a date changes, Netflix removes the title from the upcoming schedule until a new date is identified; a title you previously marked can appear in My List after release. Understand Netflix release times
There is no single general release schedule. Netflix originals typically become available globally at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time. A title that is not an original in your country typically launches at 12:00 a.m. local time. Weekly releases and programs following their original broadcast schedule can use different timing. Troubleshoot missing notifications
iPhone or iPad
Notification permission is controlled in the device’s Settings app. If Netflix reminders are not appearing, open iOS or iPadOS notification settings, find Netflix, and allow notifications.

Android
- Open My Netflix.
- Tap your profile name.
- Open App Settings.
- Turn on Allow Notifications.
Netflix account notification controls
Profile-level push categories can also be managed from the notification settings on your Netflix Account page. Device permissions must still allow Netflix notifications. Netflix lists the current controls in How to turn Netflix app notifications on or off.

Netflix describes TV changes in its TV experience and layout update and mobile changes in its mobile app layout update. Because Netflix changes menus by device and rollout, searching for the title is a useful fallback when a row is missing.
