To run prerecorded temple darshan footage continuously on YouTube Live with Livepush, create a prerecorded stream or 24/7 playlist, enable Loop Video or Loop Playlist, connect your YouTube channel, and start or schedule the event. Livepush plays the loop from its cloud, so your computer and OBS do not need to stay on. First confirm your channel can livestream and that you have permission for every part of the footage and audio.
Before you set up the stream
Get permission for the video and audio
Use footage you recorded or have permission to broadcast. Confirm that permission covers the temple location, the person who recorded it, recognizable people where relevant, and every sound in the recording—including devotional music, chants, and announcements. YouTube puts responsibility for necessary rights on the person providing the live content; a third-party content match can interrupt or end a stream. Publicly available footage is not automatically cleared for rebroadcast. See YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
Choose one video or a playlist
For a single recording, use Livepush’s prerecorded-stream workflow and turn on Loop Video. For a rotation of recordings, use the 24/7 schedule-channel workflow: upload the videos, arrange them in a playlist, and turn on Loop Playlist. Check your dashboard for the current workflow, supported file requirements, and storage limits; Livepush’s interface and plan allowances may change.
Make sure YouTube Live is ready
Your YouTube channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the past 90 days. First-time activation can take at least 24 hours, so enable live streaming well before the planned broadcast. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.

Set up a nonstop loop in Livepush
- Sign in and open the prerecorded stream. In Livepush, go to the dashboard and open the prerecorded live stream you want to use. For the schedule-channel approach, upload your recordings and create a playlist first.
- Enable looping. Turn on Loop Video for a single recording, or Loop Playlist for a playlist. For a playlist, arrange the playback order before launching the event.
- Choose when to start. Select Go Live to start now or Schedule For Later to set up a future event. Livepush says the loop continues until you manually stop it from the dashboard.
- Connect YouTube as a destination. In the stream dashboard, choose Add Destination, select YouTube, and sign in to authorize the account. Select the channel and the new live event or existing option presented in the dashboard. Enter the event title and description, choose its privacy setting, save the destination, and toggle it on. The exact choices may vary with the interface revision.
- Preview and test before going public. If appropriate, run an unlisted or private test. Confirm the footage, audio, event details, destination, and privacy setting, then check that the stream is visible as intended. YouTube recommends previewing the encoder feed and monitoring audio and video quality. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
Choose linked authorization or a manual stream key
| Method | How it works | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Linked YouTube authorization | Use Add Destination, sign in to YouTube, select the channel and event option, and save the destination. | Livepush documents this as the direct authorization route. |
| Manual RTMP stream key | Configure the event using the stream key from YouTube Studio. | Livepush says you must set up the key separately for each live event, and this route does not expose YouTube comments in Livepush’s multi-chat overlay. Treat the key like a password: never post or share it, including in screenshots. |
Both methods still require YouTube live access and rights to the content. Livepush’s manual-key instructions are at its YouTube stream-key guide.
Monitor the broadcast and plan for the replay
While the loop is running, check the Livepush dashboard for destination and stream status, confirm that the intended video is playing, and listen for audio. Stop the event from the dashboard when you no longer want it to run. A continuous live loop does not guarantee a complete YouTube replay: YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If preserving the full program matters, arrange a separate authorized recording or archive and confirm that your chosen workflow supports it. See YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance.

Livepush plan and cost to check
Livepush’s Help Center, checked October 3, 2026, identifies Creators as the least expensive social-media plan supporting its 24/7 schedule channel, listed at $39/month or $32.50/month billed annually at that time. Livepush’s plan information describes 20 GB of storage on Creators and 24/7 scheduling and looping; Business adds higher capacities and on-air schedule editing. These prices and allowances can change, so verify the current Livepush plans and pricing before subscribing. Website-hosted playback is a different plan family from social-platform streaming.

Not necessarily. YouTube may not capture a livestream that exceeds 12 hours; plan a separate recording if a complete archive is important.
