Generate a short instrumental bed, export it as an MP3 or WAV, upload it to Google Drive, then insert it on the slide where the music should begin. For documentary presentations, write the prompt around the scene’s mood and pacing, and keep the music restrained enough to leave room for narration and evidence.

Write A Prompt For Documentary Underscoring
Describe what the audience should feel and what the music must leave clear. For an interview-heavy slide, ask for a sparse bed; for a transition between chapters, specify a brief rise and a clean ending. Avoid asking for lyrics when the track will sit under spoken narration.

Short instrumental transition for a documentary presentation moving from background to consequences. Gradually build tension with a muted pulse and a few sustained tones, no vocals, resolve cleanly without a big impact, suitable between spoken sections.

These are starting briefs, not claims that either generator guarantees a particular instrument, mood, length, or ending. If a result crowds the voice, revise the prompt toward fewer layers, lower intensity, and more space.
Generate And Prepare The Audio
- Choose one prompt and generate an instrumental candidate in the selected tool.
- Listen through the section you plan to use. Check that the music does not compete with narration and that its ending does not cut off abruptly.
- If the tool offers editing, adjust the section or ending there. Export an MP3 or WAV from Eleven Music; Soundverse AI Beat Maker lists WAV mix export. Confirm the exact export option in the tool before proceeding.
- Give the file a clear name, such as chapter-two-interview-bed.wav, so you can identify it when selecting audio in Drive.
- Upload the exported MP3 or WAV file to Google Drive and wait for the upload to finish.
Insert The Track In Google Slides
- Open the presentation on a computer and select the slide where the music should start.
- Choose Insert, then Audio.
- Select the MP3 or WAV file stored in Drive and click Select. Slides inserts an audio object on the selected slide.
- Select the audio object and open Format options to set playback behavior. Choose automatic playback if the track should start as the slide appears, or on click if the presenter should control its start.
- Run the slideshow from the slide before the audio begins. Check the start point, volume, and transition to the next slide; adjust playback settings or choose a different edit if the music interrupts speech or stops at an awkward moment.
Set Up Sharing And Check Playback
Slides audio files must be stored in Drive and use MP3 or WAV format. Before sharing, make sure the people presenting the deck can access the audio file; Slides may prompt you to adjust access when you share. Preview the deck using the account and device that will present it, especially if the presenter will use a different account from the editor.

Check Rights Before Presenting Or Publishing
Whether a generated track can be used in a public, client, classroom, or monetized presentation depends on the tool’s current terms and plan. Check those terms for your intended use. If your prompt uses a recognizable person’s voice, reference audio, or samples, use only material you have permission to use and follow the relevant platform terms. Neither listed tool’s specific rights for every presentation use are established here.
