To keep recorded JEE chemistry classes live on YouTube around the clock, send the lesson videos through a YouTube Live encoder. YouTube Studio provides the stream URL and key; the encoder sends the video feed to that stream. You can run the encoder on a computer you leave on, or use a cloud service. Before starting, confirm your channel can livestream, clear the rights to every recording and embedded asset, test the feed, and keep a separate copy of the lessons.
What a 24/7 YouTube stream does—and does not do
A continuous live stream presents your recorded classes as a live broadcast. It is different from uploading lessons as ordinary videos or arranging them in a YouTube playlist: viewers watch the encoder’s live feed, and the stream can continue through a sequence of recordings if your chosen encoder supports that workflow.
YouTube’s documentation identifies software encoders such as OBS and cloud tools such as Gyre for prerecorded-video streaming. Looping controls and supported workflows depend on the encoder, so check its current documentation rather than assuming YouTube Studio itself will cycle through your files.
Check channel eligibility and prepare the recordings
Enable live streaming in advance
YouTube Help says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the prior 90 days. Its general live-stream guidance gives a minimum age of 16. For a first-time activation, YouTube says enabling live streaming may take up to 24 hours. Check the channel’s current status and turn on live streaming before planning a launch; these requirements and limits are YouTube’s published guidance and should be rechecked in Help if they change.

Organize and clear the class library
- Put the lessons in the order you want viewers to encounter them. Decide whether to repeat a fixed sequence, run a curated rolling library, or include planned breaks.
- Check that you have permission to stream the instructor recordings, slides, diagrams, music, footage, and any third-party educational material embedded in them.
- Keep the original lesson files in a separate location. A YouTube live archive is not a dependable substitute for the source library.
Choose how to keep the stream running

There is no universally best route: weigh ongoing computer and network requirements, loop automation, recovery after interruptions, schedule and output controls, monitoring, backup responsibility, and setup effort. If you use a local encoder, test what happens when its connection drops and how you will restore the feed.
Create the YouTube Live stream and connect the encoder
- In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create a live stream or schedule one for later.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream. The URL is the server address; the key identifies the feed YouTube should accept.
- In your encoder, enter the stream URL in its server or URL field and the key in its stream-key field. Use the encoder’s current instructions for choosing a video file, playlist, or loop.
- Return to the Live Control Room and check the preview before going live. Confirm that the intended lesson is playing and that audio and video are clear.
- If you scheduled the event, use its upcoming listing to tell viewers when the continuous class stream begins. YouTube says viewers can opt into a start notification for scheduled streams.
Treat the stream key as a password. YouTube says a custom key can be reused. If the key is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and update the encoder with the replacement.

Test and monitor the continuous feed
Before announcing a 24/7 stream, test the complete route from the encoder to the public watch page. Check playback on a phone as well as a computer, and listen for missing or uneven audio. YouTube’s live-stream tips recommend checking the Live Control Room preview, testing encoder failover, monitoring audio and video, and confirming that any local archive files are growing.
- Verify that the planned sequence starts in the intended order and that transitions do not leave a frozen frame or silence.
- Watch the feed on the channel’s watch page, not only in the encoder preview.
- If your setup includes failover, test it before relying on it during a live run.
- Check the feed periodically after launch so a quiet failure does not leave viewers with a frozen picture or silent stream.
YouTube Live Control Room offers settings such as DVR, which lets viewers pause or rewind during a live stream, and encoder auto-start and auto-stop controls. These are optional; check the current settings available for your stream before enabling them.

Protect the archive and understand the limits
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, and recommends keeping a local archive backup. Streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. A continuous 24/7 broadcast therefore should not be treated as a guaranteed recording of every lesson. Preserve the original files and, if you need a recording of the broadcast itself, arrange separate local recording and storage.
Copyright and policy checks for JEE lessons
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects such material, a placeholder may replace the stream and YouTube may warn you to stop using it; if the material remains, the stream can be interrupted or terminated. Even when you have a licence, the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist to avoid interruption.

YouTube’s livestream terms say the provider represents that it has the rights needed to use the live content on Google services worldwide, including music rights, and will follow applicable laws and regulations. Check the rights for every component of a class recording, not only the teacher’s voice or the main lesson. YouTube states: “All content in live streams must adhere to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.”
Common problems and fixes
