Its published instructions do not establish that a full recording can be scheduled to start and play unattended. In India, the documented steps are the same general Be.Live and YouTube workflow; the sources reviewed do not identify a separate India-specific procedure.
What Be.Live can do with a recording
Be.Live’s published instructions describe inserting prerecorded media into an active live broadcast—not automatically streaming a complete recording as a live feed. That makes it suitable for a host who wants to introduce or discuss a clip, then play it for viewers.
- Play a clip during a live show: Upload an edited MP4 and push it to the stream when ready, or share a YouTube-hosted video using its URL. These details are from a Be.Live article dated May 7, 2020; confirm the current controls and file limit in your account.
- Record without going live: Be.Live’s “Offline Recording” feature records a broadcast for later use or audio download. It is not a way to send an existing video to YouTube as a live feed.
- Schedule a show: Scheduling creates an announcement in advance; the creator still has to start the broadcast manually. The documentation does not say a full prerecorded video will begin playing automatically at the scheduled time.
Check YouTube live eligibility
YouTube Help says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its current guidance also sets the minimum age to live stream at 16. Check the channel’s status before planning a broadcast; verification can take time. Be.Live’s FAQ estimates 24 hours for verification, but that is Be.Live’s estimate, not a YouTube guarantee. Prepare Be.Live and connect your YouTube channel
What you need
Be.Live’s YouTube setup guide lists a desktop or laptop, current Chrome or Safari, stable internet, headphones, and a verified YouTube channel. A webcam is useful if you plan to appear on camera, but it is not inherently required just to play a prerecorded clip. Browser support and studio controls may have changed since Be.Live’s guide was updated, so check the current interface.

Set YouTube as the destination
- Open the Be.Live studio and choose Set Destination.
- Select YouTube, then connect the Google account that owns or manages the channel.
- Authorize the requested access.
- Choose the broadcast visibility: Public, Private, or Unlisted. Public streams can be discovered; Unlisted streams are accessible by link and are not ordinarily shown in YouTube search; Private access is restricted.
- Enter the stream title and description, then save the destination.
Add and play the prerecorded video
Option 1: Upload an MP4 clip
- Prepare the segment as an edited MP4.
- In Be.Live, add the file through the media lobby.
- When you want viewers to see it, push the clip to the live stream.
Be.Live’s May 7, 2020 article states a 100 MB maximum for uploaded MP4 clips. Because that limit comes from older documentation, verify the current limit before exporting or uploading. The article also describes the clip workflow for YouTube or Facebook Live; this guide covers YouTube.
Option 2: Share a video hosted on YouTube
- In Be.Live, use its video URL-sharing option.
- Provide the YouTube video’s URL and add it to the live show as described in Be.Live’s media workflow.
- Put the video on the stream when you are ready.
This is still a clip or segment within a live show, not documentation of a complete recording being broadcast automatically from beginning to end.

Start the broadcast, including a scheduled show
Once the destination and media are ready, start the Be.Live show and put the segment on air at the appropriate point. If you scheduled the YouTube broadcast in advance, treat the scheduled time as an announcement, not an automatic start: Be.Live says the creator must start the show manually. Its FAQ says scheduled YouTube or Facebook broadcasts should be started within 10 minutes after the scheduled time or the platform may delete them. Allow time to enter the studio and begin promptly.
Keep copyright and monetization in view
Only play material you have the rights or permission to use in a live broadcast. A video being available on YouTube does not by itself establish that you may rebroadcast it. Check the rights for both the video and its audio, including music, documentary footage, archive material, and any third-party clips. YouTube’s live-stream eligibility requirements are separate from copyright permission; meeting the eligibility rules does not grant reuse rights.

Be.Live’s documented clip workflow should not be treated as advice that a channel will qualify for monetization or that reused material will comply with YouTube’s monetization policies. Review YouTube’s current policies for the channel and content before relying on revenue from a broadcast.
What is specific to creators in India?
The reviewed Be.Live and YouTube guidance describes a general workflow and does not document an India-specific change to these steps. Be.Live’s FAQ mentions country selection during YouTube channel verification, but it does not establish special India requirements. Do not assume every plan, payment method, or feature is identical in India without checking Be.Live’s current local terms.

Common problems and what to check
- YouTube is unavailable as a destination: Confirm you connected the Google account that owns or manages the intended channel, authorized access, and completed YouTube’s channel verification and live eligibility requirements.
- The uploaded clip is rejected: Check that it is MP4 and that it meets the current upload limit. The 100 MB limit in Be.Live’s cited article dates to 2020, so confirm the present limit rather than assuming it remains in force.
- The clip does not appear on the live stream: Adding media and putting it on air are separate actions in the documented workflow. Check that you have pushed the clip to the stream rather than merely added it to the media lobby.
- A scheduled show has not started: Enter the Be.Live studio and start it manually. Be.Live’s FAQ gives a 10-minute window after the scheduled time before the platform may delete a scheduled broadcast.
- You want a complete video to play unattended: Be.Live’s cited instructions document inserting media in a live show, not automatic full-length playback. Do not treat scheduling or Offline Recording as a substitute for that capability.
