You can turn prerecorded Gujarati Garba videos into a continuous YouTube Live feed by sending them through an encoder connected to YouTube Studio. First clear the rights for every song and visual, then choose a local encoder or a cloud service, configure and test the stream, and plan separately for interruptions and replay. A 24-hour broadcast is not guaranteed to become a complete YouTube archive, and continuous music does not guarantee monetization.
Choose how to keep the stream running
YouTube Studio provides the stream URL and key; an encoder sends the video and audio to YouTube. You can run an encoder on your computer or use a cloud continuous-streaming service. YouTube’s encoder guide describes software and hardware encoders and lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded streams. That listing does not establish a provider’s current pricing, availability, retry behavior, terms, or recording options, so check those details directly before relying on a service.

Clear rights to the Garba music and visuals first
Before building a playlist, establish that you have the necessary rights for each composition, sound recording, and visual, for the territories and uses you intend. YouTube’s Livestream terms and conditions say the creator must have all necessary rights for live content, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. The precise rights depend on the particular material and use; a general permission or subscription should not be treated as clearance for an unspecified playlist.

- Document who controls each song, recording, and video, and what permission or license covers it.
- Confirm that the permission covers YouTube livestreaming, the territories reached, the duration of use, and any archive or replay.
- If a rights holder uses Content ID, coordinate channel allowlisting where needed. YouTube warns that a licensed stream may still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
- Do not assume that buying a track, crediting its singer, finding it online, having a personal listening subscription, or receiving informal permission grants livestream or archive rights.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder image; continued use can lead to temporary interruption or termination. Archived streams may also receive Content ID claims after the broadcast. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance. Rights clearance and YouTube monetization eligibility are separate questions.
Check channel eligibility and create the YouTube stream
- Enable live streaming. Verify the channel and check that it has had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time enablement can take up to 24 hours. Confirm current eligibility in YouTube’s live streaming guidance.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create a new stream or schedule one. Set the title, description, privacy, and other relevant metadata. Scheduling creates a watch page that can be shared in advance.
- Copy the connection details. In the stream’s settings, copy the stream URL and stream key into your encoder. Treat the key like a password: it allows an encoder to send to your channel. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room.
- Prepare the prerecorded program. Select only media you are authorized to use, and check that the files play correctly with the intended picture and audio. Arrange the playlist or loop in the encoder or service you chose.
- Send a test feed and inspect the preview. Start the encoder, wait for YouTube’s preview, and check that both audio and video are present and synchronized. If the stream is scheduled, go live in Live Control Room when ready.
- Monitor after launch. Check stream health and the public watch page. For a long-running feed, arrange human monitoring and a recovery plan; YouTube’s guidance does not promise uninterrupted delivery or a guaranteed reconnect method.

Set video, audio, and network settings
Use settings supported by both your encoder and YouTube, then test them on the actual connection. YouTube’s current encoder settings guidance lists RTMP/RTMPS and H.264, H.265, and AV1 video options, with AAC or MP3 audio. It recommends constant bitrate and a 2-second keyframe interval, not over 4 seconds. YouTube recommends RTMPS because it encrypts data in transit to and through Google’s servers.

These bitrate figures are guidance ranges, not guarantees of picture quality. A 24/7 Garba music program does not inherently need 4K; choose a reliable resolution for the source and connection. YouTube transcodes incoming live video into formats for viewers. Test the audio level, playback, and stream health before relying on the feed.

Plan for interruptions and protect the replay
A continuous broadcast needs an operational plan, not just a playlist. Watch for encoder disconnects, network loss, and YouTube stream-health warnings, and decide who will notice and respond. YouTube’s guidance recommends monitoring but does not specify a guaranteed recovery behavior for every encoder or cloud service. Check the retry and notification behavior of your chosen setup rather than assuming the feed will reconnect automatically.
Do not rely on YouTube to create a complete archive of a single 24-hour stream. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a complete replay matters, record locally and check that the recording is growing and playable. You can also consider deliberately planned shorter sessions, but validate the workflow: splitting a broadcast does not guarantee that every segment will be preserved or that interruptions will be avoided. Understand the monetization uncertainty
A continuous stream is not automatically eligible for monetization. YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to live streams and expect original, authentic content. The policy says repetitive or mass-produced material may be ineligible, and reused content is a separate issue: collections of songs from different artists are among the examples that may violate policy. A channel may therefore face monetization-policy concerns even when it has permission to use the music.
YouTube’s policy records a July 15, 2025 clarification renaming “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” and clarifying its treatment of repetitive or mass-produced material. It distinguishes interchangeable template content from material with meaningful variation and creative, educational, or other value. Adding a graphic, title card, or playlist is not a guarantee of eligibility. YouTube reviews channels and makes decisions based on the channel and its content; resolving copyright issues does not by itself establish monetization eligibility.
